We reserved at Fish Tobago from January 31st to February 6th and we finaly decided to stay untill february 10 cause our vacations was so wonderful. The guest house is really nice. There are all facilities you need to feel like at home. Near from the beach by walk and near from watersport. Brandon, the host, is really kind. He is always there to help you. I recommend this guest house to everyone and if I come back to Tobago, I surely will return to Fish Tobaga.
Thanks to Brandon!!! :)

If you are coming to Tobago, you have to stay here. Brandon, the owner is a really cool guy that does everything he can so you can enjoy your stay. The rooms are nice, clean and have A/C, the kitchen is complete, the tours they offer are amazing and the place itself is really nice and well located. No complaints. Just a perfect place to have a good time, relax, and just enjoy all the amazing things that Tobago has to offer!

Very cute likkle house in Buccoo, where you can feel at home. Host and employees are very kind and welcoming; flatmate atmosphere. The kittchen of the dorms is clean and big, the couple rooms are really nice. The host offers snorkel and fishing trips you won´t forget.
Happy-happy to be the guest of Tobago Fish.

Pros: Rooms are pleasant and clean, garden area is nice and the vlllage is a nice place to stay. Owner / manager can be very friendly and helpful if you stay on his good side. Owner kindly stored our bags for us when we left for a few days,

Cons: rooms have zero storage, shelving. Did not get the room we reserved and saw/heard of others getting frustrated with their booking. Tour prices are very expensive, $60 snorkel trip can be done for $20 from the village dock. We were told we would get a boat ride each day to Pigeon point for kite surfing but only actually got the boat ride once, however a boat was always available for tours. We felt like we were mislead when we made our booking based on this promise. There were conflicts between manager and guests and guests were told there was not space for them even though there were empty beds.

We booked Fish Tobago because of the great reviews it had on TripAdvisor, and they were absolutely right - had the BEST time here, thanks to Brandon and all his hard work and hospitality. Fabulous!!!!

Room Tip: We booked a premier room so we could have our own cooking facilities, and they were great, but the c...

I had such a blast at Fish Tobago Guesthouse! Brandon was an excellent host. My wife and I came to Fish Tobago Guesthouse for our honeymoon. We wanted a taste of local cuisine and culture...we got it...we wanted an experience that was non-touristy...we got it...we wanted secluded, gorgeous, un-touched beaches...we got it and much much more. Brandon was an amazing resource and guide. He took us on a whole-island tour and it was incredible! For a quaint, relaxing experience off the beaten trail Fish Tobago is the place to go.

Room Tip: Middle room is quiet and in the morning stay dark if you want to sleep in. The orange room was beaut...

Fish Tobago Guesthouse was perfect for what we were looking for, for our honeymoon!
We wanted something affordable, near the beach, away from the "touristy" areas, where we could get seclusion, yet also experience the culture of Tobago. It was all of this and more!

THE OWNER: The owner, Brandon, was a wonderful host. He received us with warmth and a big smile. He went above and beyond, driving us around, pointing us to the spots for the most "local" experience, calling a taxi's for us when he was not available to drive, and even providing fresh local breakfast on many days for his guests (though this was not expected to be included).

THE PEOPLE: Speaking of wonderful hosts, the people of Tobago in general were the nicest, most helpful, giving people I have come across (and I have traveled all over the world). This is something money can't buy!

ACCOMMODATIONS: When we first arrived, Brandon was not able to put us in the room we had wanted, because they were booked. So, we started out in a room that was simple, yet neat. My only complaint there was that there were no windows in the room. We then were moved to the room we wanted, which was beautiful, with island decor, new appliances (toaster oven, microwave, refrigerator, electric burners), and windows that let in a nice breeze. In the mornings we were greeted by the sunlight streaming in and birds singing. There is also a patio upstairs with a table and chairs where you can eat, overlooking tropical foliage. Downstairs, there is a nice yard with more tables and chairs where guests tend to chill, talk over drinks, and eat.

THE LOCATION: Within walking distance from the shoreline, where you can access many beaches, each with a different feel. It's also within a few minutes walk to many different local restaurants to choose from. Our favorite was the "Bamboo Hut". Make sure you check it out especially for breakfast. You can sit on a roadside bench and eat while watching the morning world. Next to the Bamboo Hut is a craft shop owned by Ras Nolen, who makes beautiful things out of calabash.

OTHER PERKS: If you want to tour the island, hike the rainforest, snorkel at the Buccoo reef, go fishing, see the famous turtles, swim the waterfalls, you need to look no further than Fish Tobago. Brandon offers all of these things to his guests at a very affordable cost. Want to capture it all on camera? Brandon is also a photographer!

This was truly a taste of paradise for us! I am already dreaming of the time we can go back. We left not only with great memories, but with new friends from Tobago. Tobago is now one of my top favorite countries in the world!
