We stayed here for 2 nights in June 2012 as we were going to Alton Towers. Such a lovely place to stay and only 2 miles from the park. We stayed in a double room which had been converted from a barn and it was great. Very comfy bed with a large shower room en-suite. Really homely and cosy for couples and families. A great price compared to the Alton Towers Hotel where we stayed last year and service was much higher.
The owners Dianne and Chris were extremley helpful and wonderful hosts, their great homemade breakfast kept us going until way after lunch.
Would recommend this B&B to anyone going to Alton Towers or to the surronding area, nicest B&B we have stayed in, a home from home.

We also ate around the local area in the evenings, The curry at Thornbury Hall was wonderful then we tried the Tapas Bar, The Olive Tree in Cheadle the following night, again a great choice and friendly service.

If we return to Alton Towers we would definatley stay here again, Could not fault it.

Very close to Alton Towers in a picturesque setting. Lovely little room with good amenities. Good breakfast with selection of cereals and full cooked breakfast. Definitely recommend!

Just returned from a one night's stay at Crowtrees Farm following a tiring day at Alton Towers. The location is absolutely beautiful with amazing views. There was three of us and our room consisted of a double bed, a bunkbed and ensuite facilities which was spotlessly clean and well presented. The host, Chris, suggested various places for our evening meal, and upon his recommendation choose to dine at The Queens, about 5 miles away and it was excellent.

Breakfast was served in the main house and was amazing, with a good choice of cereals and full English breakfast cooked to perfection. Views from the dining room are breathtaking.

My son loved billy the goat and the little kittens, he is demanding when we can visit again!

If I had to find fault it would be that the information booklet and leaflets in room should be more up
to date and it would be nice to have biscuits on the tea/coffee tray. However, these are just minor points and cannot detract from the overall experience and just wish all bed & breakfasts were this good.

Well done Chris and Dianne, your b &b is an absolute credit to you!

Just stayed at crowtrees for 2 nights For a trip to Alton towers. Chris and dianne are lovely and the homecooked breakfast was amazing with probably the best sausage I have ever had. The room was superb with en- suite facilities that were lovely and clean. The bed was super comfy just what was required after a hectic day at the towers. Have re booked to go back in November for fireworks and can't wait

We stayed here with another family for a two day visit to Alton Towers. The location is just perfect after a hectic day at the park. The children loved the animals and Chris and Dianne are really lovely and go the extra mile to ensure an enjoyable stay. We had pizza delivered and ate outside in perfect surroundings; an end to a perfect day.

Everything was perfect & the breakfast absolutely delicious. The couple who run it are delightful.

It is so close to Alton Towers - just fab.

Room Tip: The new barn conversion rooms are superb

We stayed here while we visited Alton Towers for a couple of days. I'd booked a double room for me and my 12 year old daughter but my husband got some time off and was able to tag along. When I phoned to explain the situation Dianne the lady who runs the B&B was very accommodating and it was no problem at all to add an extra. From the moment we arrived we were made very welcome and greeted warmly, not only by Dianne but by the goat who is named Billy and is so friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable and had an en-suite bathroom. The bed was amazingly comfortable and the room was equipped with a large flat screen digital TV and a fridge. We were greeted in the mornings by Chris and Dianne and seated at a table with lovely views of the gardens and hills. The breakfast was really tasty and I would go so far to say the best sausages I have ever tasted. Crowtrees Farm is a magical place to stay and I wouldn't even consider booking anywhere else next time we go to Alton Towers.
