I think all the very positive comments that this location has received are fully merited. My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights and stayed in the chalet, which is very comfortable. Yes the toilet/shower room is on the small size but really is not a problem, as the rest of the facilities are good and the views are amazing, with sheep just the other side of the fence. If you have young children this place is idea as loads of space for them to run around, and as secluded no worries about cars, but will also need your car to get around as there is nothing in walking distance. However this seclusion is part of its beauty, and we found on our first night how lovely it was to get a takeaway and just sit outside, eat and watch the sun go down over the hills, very romantic. Our hosts were also very accommodating, and very friendly. I would definitely visit this place again

Room Tip: The chalet overlooks the rolling hills and sheep,

We've just returned from a three night stay with Dianne and Chris at Crowtrees. We were there to visit Alton Towers and found it to be a perfect place for visiting the park. We stayed in one of the converted barn rooms which was lovely, the room was large with a massive comfy king size bed and a modern TV with freeview. We loved the converted barn rooms, they had lots of character and high beamed ceilings. We also found the mini fridge to be a really good facility (easily big enough for a full bottle of wine!!).

The whole farm area was lovely and quiet with beautiful views- very nice to come back to after a hectic day in the theme park.

Dianne and Chris were very helpful and welcoming- even offering to drive us to a local pub for some dinner. Breakfast was great and we found Crowtrees to be such good value for money.

The only downside was that because you're in such a lovely rural area, you are quite far away from restaurants and supermarkets etc.. and would usually need to drive to go out for dinner but you can't have it all! There were some local restaurants that would deliver to the B&B though.

We will definitely be coming back!

Room Tip: We were in room 7 (converted barn) there was lots of space and a cute little bunkbed cubby hole in t...

Faultless accommodation. Lovely hosts. Excellent location for Alton Towers visit. Really easy to find but don't use a sat nav, follow the directions on the website. Breakfast was plentiful and a well cooked start to the day.

Having stayed in several B&Bs over the last few years whilst visiting Alton Towers, I can say that without a doubt that this is definitely the best. A beautiful picturesque setting and Diane and Chris were very welcoming. A lovely room in a separate cottage next to the main farm house with a lovely comfortable bed. A delicious breakfast each morning and a nice short drive to get to Alton Towers. What more could you want. Will definitely be staying at Crowtrees Farm again.

We stayed for one night whilst visiting Alton Towers at the beginning of the season.

Very peaceful place, beautiful room in a separate building to the main house which added to the privacy. Planned on eating at a local pub but they're all a bit of a drive away, so ended up ordering a takeaway but that was fine.

Lovely home cooked breakfast and we even got to say hello to the resident cats!

Would definitely return!

PS - the beds are reeaaaalllllyyy comfy - especially after walking around Alton Towers all day!
