We have just returned from a 3 night stay at Novotel Bali Benoa. The hotel is about 45 mins from the airport. We booked on the Accor Super Sale based on the reviews from trip advisor. This was my first trip to bali with my family and the hotel was beyond our expectations. The room was spacious and the hotel has 3 pools and very close on the beach. The breakfast had a good spread and lots of restaurants outside where you get superb sea food. The kids had a whale of a time in the kids club. The hotel organized various cultural programmes in the evening.Overall we were very satisfied with the facilities and would recommnd this hotel wholeheartedly.

It was magic from the moment we stepped out of the transport at the lobby! The resort is very very beautiful and we were given a room upgrade that couldn't be matched by any other hotel establishment! The 2 bedroom sea facing villa was incredibly beautiful, comfortable and spacious. Loved the golden sand beach and the SPA! But most of all, its the service that took my breath away. Each and everyone of the staff gave 200% attention to the guest something which I have never come acrossed anywhere I have travelled before. Bali was magical for me because of Novotel Benoa!

I have been given the chance by Accor to experience a slice of heaven at Bali, the one and only Novotel Benoa Bali.

My arrival to the hotel even though it was already late in the evening as I have arrived from a connecting flight from Kuala Lumpur was very swift and pleasant indeed. The hotel had a very Balinese entrance to the open lobby. The check-in process took no more than 10 mins. as our guest relations officer took care of the paperwork and details, gave us our welcome drinks and then said, please proceed to your villa, we will attend to your other details tomorrow as they know we had a long trip... wow!! finally a hotel that understands a traveller's needs. No fuss. Just the comforts that they can provide.

We were escorted by the bell hop to our one-bedroom villa. When the door opened a facade of flowing water was in our midst, with a fresh aquarium full of fishes on our steps, then you see the whole place. The villa was huge with one private pool, a patio, an outdoor living room, complete with amenities such as a ref, water heating kettle, a television with dvd player and surround sound set-up, and a espresso machine!!! Can you imagine that. Well, the next stop would be the bedroom, When we got in the room, our bed was huge, full size king bed with good airconditioning, we were surprised to see a 42-inch LCD in front of us, 2 sofas, one on the side along the wall the other on the dressing closet side, with a vanity table with mirror. Now on the comfort room side, it was a open area with shower, and a jacuzzi....wow I was really wanting to dip into the jacuzzi, but it was already late, and we were tired... so back we went to our room to settle in, there were some mosquitoes which you would expect in a villa, but a little mosquito spray did the trick.... then we were sound asleep...

When we got up in the morning, we then proceeded to the Uluwatu Restaurant to have our breakfast. Breakfast was very sumptuous and very bountiful, full of flavor and lots of variety. We got quite full on that morning that we had to stop ourselves from eating...lol

The hotel had lots of activities lined-up, you would not be bored if you stayed in the hotel the whole day. If you have kids to bring along they have a kid's room facility that you can leave your kids with them with no worries. They have 3 pools for which you can choose to swim around, a tennis court, a fitness center, a spa, business center, free internet kiosk so that you can be updated with what's happening in the world, 1 restaurant, and 3 bars, they have a theatre with nightly shows and finally the beach with lots to area to sunbath. We didn't really got on the beach as it was quite deep even on the shore and the waves were splashing really hard.

Watersports were nearby and you can see many parasailing, taking banana boats, flying fish and jet skiiing. The sun was shining enough not being so hot.

We took the spa package and it was very relaxing. We had a romantic dinner at our villa and a fantastic meal. We had fruits and chocolates plus juices sent to our villa everyday to keep us refresh the whole day long.

There is so more that is here you can't put it into words... the best way to know is to let yourself here and let your body and mind feel the bliss on this slice of heaven on earth.

Novotel Benoa Bali.

I stayed at this hotel for a long weekend early in May. The reception area is an almost al fresco, large and cool.

I had booked my room a few months earlier with an Accor rooms sale, the reception staff were expecting me and had all the formalities in place that made for a rapid registration procedure. The room I had booked was not ready when I arrived and the prospect of waiting a few hours was not appealing after a five-hour flight. But I was offered the use of a pleasant room for the time it would take to make up my room. However, the temporary room was very comfortable indeed.

My room eventually ready I was directly on the beach but despite this it was quiet and peaceful. The bathroom was large and spacious but did not have a bath only a powerful shower that never failed to supply needle-sharp and invigorating hot showers. There was a deep outside bath surrounded by a high wall and plenty of tropical shrubbery so no chance of prying eyes.

The main room was quite small but adequate and the bed was very comfortable indeed with deep pillows and clean white linen sheets. The work desk was of a reasonable size and the couch almost as deep and as comfortable as the bed. The large screen TV offered a good range of channels.

Fully glazed double doors let in copious amounts of light and led to a small shady garden fronting the beach, again it was quiet despite being close to beach lovers and some kids.

The beachside dining area is the best of the dining options and serves reasonable food. The dining area just off the bar and a little way from reception is spacious enough not to feel crowded and offers good views over the beach. At night a lower area is used as a stage for local bands.

I did not find the food interesting or different and in fact some of it was quite bland but there was plenty of it and breakfast is probably the best serving of the day.

The pool at the beachside part of the hotel is large enough and offers good swimming with a kids pool for the little ones. Other facilities include a kids club, I don’t have any so didn’t use it, but talking got the PR manager the club offers a good range of activities to keep the children amused. For the adults a small but well equipped fitness suite was available.

This is not a business hotel but limited business facilities are available including a couple of meeting rooms that can hold up to 100 people.

The Internet facilities are disappointing having to buy a voucher to use the high speed access.

The hotel is in a quiet location and may be good for a short romantic get-away, for families with kids who do not want the distractions of a big town near by, and for those seeking peace and solitude for a while. Although Kuta town is only a 30 minute drive away.

The staff are extremely friendly and will eagerly chat but they are not intrusive and know when not to approach and when to leave. They are also attentive and observant.

The Novotel Bali Benoa is a holiday hotel with a good location at the beach and with several restaurants within walking distance. The complex is divided by the main road however there is a very polite crossing attendant to supervise road crossing. Most rooms on the beach side of the road seem to have been recently renovated. My room on the inland side was rather basic and had a terrace that faced a bamboo fence 2m from the step and therefore not usable. It would also seem that the advertised wifi has problems in this part of the hotel as it didn't work during my stay.
The pool areas are very pleasant with sufficient sun beds and reasonably attentive staff. The beach is cleaned daily and has a cordoned off area to prevent motor boats and jet skis from entering. Because of these watersports, the beach can be noisy. The beach restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere and the food was of a good standard. Breakfast at the buffet was also varied and enjoyable.
The hotel has an efficient car service with friendly drivers. The prices are higher than a metered taxi by around 25% on average.
Our stay was not ideal as our the hotel was overbooked and colleagues were forced to stay in another hotel for several nights. This fell below our expectations for the Novotel brand.

We appreciate hearing feedback from all our guests as this allows us to improve the quality of our products and services in order to better meet the needs of our guests.

The bamboo fence is used to cover the areas under maintenance to minimize any disturbance. We are sorry if it prevented you to use your terrace.

We apologize if your colleague has not been able to stay at our hotel and had to spend few nights at the Novotel Nusa Dua due to some room technical issue.

We thank you for your constructive feedback and we hope that you will return in the future.
