My husband and I did not plan to go anywhere far but to stay locally in Europe but we found this hotel with All Inclusive package very affordable and attractive.
In the end we did not regret it.
The hotel needs renovation but we couldn't complain we had a fabulous room!
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
The food is very good , do not expect 4-5 star hotel with variety of posh dishes. We could find everything what we need it
Breakfast ( freshly made omelette,Balinese Black Coffee,Mango Juice, pancakes), Lunch (soup, main course, salads ), Dinner ( Italian ,Chinese, Thai Cuisine).
We went to Grand Mirage beach which is bigger and cleaner with a lot of sunbeds.
After Dinner we would usually stay at the bar (it seems that barman is always looking for a tip) and liked Cocktails ( Piña Colada ask for not to strong ,delicious), my husband liked Jin & Tonic.
Book a table for your Dinner in the next Door Chinese Restaurant "Chopsticks" there is a set menu with a lot of drinks (wine, beer, juice, fizzy drinks) everything is included in All Inclusive.
If you were on the day tour and missed your Dinner you can go downstairs to the hotel restaurant and order food (there is a good menu) we ordered couple of times.
We also liked bottled Balinese Hai Beer & Bintang.
Book your room on the upper floor to avoid ants.
Exchange your money in an Authorized Exchanger we can recommend MINI Msrket it's a souvenir shop and money exchanger, always look for a fixed price shops. We booked Bali Taxi with fare rates anywhere we went.
Lovely places to visit Monkey Forest, Kuta Beach, Nusa Dua Beach, Sunset in Jimbaran Beach(there are a lot of Seafood restaurants) , Elephant Ride, Safari, Butterfly Park.
There is also an extremely good Balinese Massage in "The Home Spa" 5 minutes walk from the hotel.
Water Activities on the beach, seawaker, jet ski, etc.
We can recommend this hotel and will definitely would like to return to this place again.

on entry to bali the visa is now £35 not £25, and the exit tax is £15 not £10 dont be caught out! order a pickup and return to the airport at around £35, from the hotel , saves a lot of hassle. the hotel is small and looks a bit tired, some say its either getting a face lift next year or its closing down. its not 4* but 3* plus. make sure you get pool/seaview room which is spacious and well fitted out. best room is 326/7. pool and beach are ok with plenty of facilities and water sports. check out "honest dave" for bargain watches! dont take your towels.
can walk next door to the grand mirage , far more superior in all aspects but more expensive. food seamed to get a a lot better after after a couple of days. by the end of the week we concluded that the food was good .breakfast is very good and caters for all nationalities. the drinks are also good and from a bottle. try the chinese restaurant you can eat there as many times you like.
balinese dancers perform wed and sat with a good resident band 5 nights a week.
the staff are very pleasant and friendly, the ozzies were very chatty, the japs kept themselves to themselves and the russians were the usual rude and ignorant, beware.
from a taxi take an island tour including kuta and the temples from £30. its very third world so be careful and watch out. plenty of massage parlours across the road from the hotel, wife had her toe nails done, using shellac for £3, and i had a full massage for a fiver!
just take £30 of rupeah,$100 , rest in pounds, or use your cards.
the weather was hot , the holiday was different, a pleasant change.

Room Tip: poo/seaview are best get 326

Wife booked this hotel, I was less than happy. but on arrival we found it to be quite pleasant, staff are great and always there to help. breakfast was plentiful. Rooms were good, beds comfortable, décor good. Pool is ok. No gym. Room service ok. You cant beat this hotel for value or location on the beach, for the price. Hotel is showing signs of age(but clean) and is probably going to get renovated soon, I Hope, with all the new hotels getting built in Nusa Dua. competition will be strong. overall a good stay.

Booked this hotel through an Agency for our honeymoon last June. All inclusive was the package. After an easy check in & a welcome drink we arrived at our room in the 1st floor which was an ordinary room and not something Special. After a short while arrived a lovely surprise for us: a honeymoon cake with our names written. Nice gesture!
The hotel is situated between the main road and the beach. All the expensive hotels are situated in this area.
The room was spacious and so was the bathroom. It was cleaned daily. All the staff are friendly and speak or try to speak english. The hotel itself I belive needs rennovation. The doors for example are a bit old. Our view at the garden was decent but nothing Special again.
Breakfast which is very important to me was 7-10 and had a good variety to eat but not much to drink. Also we didin't find much tradiotional products from Bali as expected. Lunch and dinner was sometimes very good and sometimes very ''poor'' the menu was diffrent everyday. As if it was the leftovers of the ''sister'' hotel. Between them I ate a couple of times and the kitchen was ready to serve me. Not to mention the coctails and beers that were Free for us all inclusive. Almost every evening there was a little show for the guests which was nice.
The internet in the lobbie is tragicaly slow, dont't bother. The WiFi is with payment and rather slow.
The pool is clean, large and safe for Children too. The beach below is average but clean and not too crowded. Of course the sister hotel right next door has better facilities as a 5 star hotel.
In General I can't complain, for the Money we paid I believe it was a fair deal.
Also tried once the chinese restaurant next doors which you can try if you want but not expect to try something you haven't already. The pre-reserved menu is set, and the portions are not that big. As for the massage facitlity next to the swimming pool I can't say cause I never tried. Right across the street there a lot cheaper beaty and spa salons. (3euros/hour!)
In conclusion I didn't regret our stay. If you want luxury, trie another 5 star hotel. But, if you are looking for an all inclusive fair deal, this is your hotel. Enjoy!

Room Tip: Thw front rooms with the pool view may have a little noise from the kids and the music. All the rest...

You get what you paid for, and I and my family found it perfect for out needs. The pool is beautiful any time of day and night; not to mention well maintained. The staff are so friendly, yes the rooms are out dated, but why spent time in your room when there is so much to enjoy outside. If you're wanting luxurious rooms stay at the grand mirage. Breakfast was great, fresh fruit every morning, pancakes, French toast, bacon and eggs (considering everyone was dissatisfied with the lady cooking the eggs, I found her nothing but pleasant).

Amazing service and value from a three star jewel in Bali's crown. We hope we will make it back one day to enjoy the fantastic hotel and the lovely friendly staff that work there. My special birthday made even more so by the stunning cake they made and delivered to our room. Thank you for a memorable holiday.

The hotel on the whole was decent. It was clean and the staff was friendly. The rooms however are noisy because the balcony doors do not close all the way. The food for lunch at the grill was very good. Breakfast was decent but we thought dinner lacked a bit. The hotel felt like a cheaper Cancun hotel. (you will understand that if you have been to Cancun.)
