“One of the best Chinese Resto in Bali”
Reviewed 1 July 2014

Laota Benoa Restaurant is a branch of famous Laota Chinese Restaurant in Kuta. They serve famous congee and steam prawn dish. Very crowded during dinner and smaller place compared to Kuta. Best choice for Chinese food in Nusa Dua area.

“Late Night Congee in Tanjung Benoa”
Reviewed 17 February 2014

Visited this place almost regularly after overtime works. They open until midnight, and it is always comforting to have a hot congee with assorted toppings. Century eggs, Chinese Fried Bread Stick / You Tiao, Lettuce with Oyster Sauce, etc. They're famous for their You Tiao.

Chinese a la carte dishes are also available, Chinese BBQ and Fresh Seafood dishes.

Come with family and friends so you can order and try many things.

“Best comfort food in Bali”
Reviewed 5 January 2014

We stayed in Conrad Hotel Benoa last week, and we were so happy to find that Laota opened a new branch just a few minutes walk from our hotel. We have always been a big fan of Laota, and nothing comfort us more than a bowl of hot porridge after getting caught in a monsoon rain.
Laota serves mainly Hong Kong style porridge and Chinese food. My personal favourite other than the porridge are the boiled chicken with ginger sauce (hainan chicken) and steamed prawns. Very fresh and tasty! We went there 2 days in a row and they never disappoint! Definitely a must try! Oh yes, I don't know what kind of tea they are using, but try their sweetened hot tea, it tastes really good!

“Excellent duck!”
Reviewed 24 November 2013

If you're looking for a Hong Kong style restaurant that you would find down the side streets in Hong Kong then this is it. Venue is not fancy but food is excellent. Service prompt and friendly. Parking is a bit difficult if it is busy, though. Had a great meal and will be back!

“A must”
Reviewed 16 July 2013

Open 24hours, the porridge was the best, not to mention crab in salty egg souce... Now they also have branch at tanjung benoa. So happy to eat there, taste as good as the one at jalan raya kuta. Others food was chinese food. The vege was so yummy. Dont forget to get the krispy dougnut with the porridge. This laota porridge is a must when you are at Bali.
