Heading back to Sheplegh Court I stopped in Stoke Fleming and spotted the Brill Plaice. Very friendly and helpful and delicious vid and chips to takeaway. And a pint of Peroni whilst it was being cooked- marvellous

We opted for take away fish and chips. Staff were really friendly and we didn't wait long for our order. Portion sizes are big, I struggled to eat it all but it was the best fish & chips I've ever had! So good, we returned the next night!

My partner had plaice which was cooked perfectly and came with an interesting mixture of sautéed vegetables. I had rib eye steak, cooked exactly as I like it and with the same selection of vegetables. The décor is basic, after all it is mainly a fish and chip shop, but candles help create atmosphere and the service was very good.

We did not eat in the restaurant but had Take Away which is situated in the restaurant car park behind. we were not disappointed by the Posh Fish & Chips option (cod wrapped in smoked salmon) which was very tasty. chips were also very well cooked.
