........but to expand on that statement ................. First mention must go to Autumn, Vicky's gorgeous dog. She came upstairs to greet us for the three mornings we were at Ford's House. They say dogs take on their owner's personality and in this case it is certainly true. Vicky was delightful, so much so that it felt like staying with a long time friend.
The standard of the rooms was extremely high. In fact it felt as if we were the first people to occupy the room is was so squeaky clean and very tastefully furnished. We had the room at the front and found no problem with traffic noise.
Breakfast was scrummy, fresh fruit, coffee, toast and a full English. Other choices were available but we never say no to a full English!
I found this B&B via the Dartmouth Tourist website and really chose it on a 'gut feeling' and because it was near the campsite where my daughter and family were staying.
I would unhesitatingly recommend Ford's House. It is a little gem.More
