I stayed here for a week at the end of July with my 2 kids (age 12 & 11). The staff were incredibly friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The bar & snack service was quick, food delicious & reasonably priced.
The apartment themselves were spacious but very basically furnished & could do with a makeover. The kitchen is equipped with most things you need for self catering but as its so cheap to eat out, we only used the fridge to keep the water chilled! The aircon only works in the main bedroom so in addition to paying for this, we also hired fans to try & keep the heat under control.... It was well over 120 degrees every day.
The pool was cleaned daily & altho there were guests who put their towels out to secure a sunbed, we didnt have a problem getting one.
Location wise its very much on the outskirts of Altinkum so its either a half hour walk into town or you can catch the dolmus. There are however plenty of restaurants & bars locally.
Can recommend both the Quiz Night & Bbq night at Sunset Village.
This was our first visit to Turkey & overall we had a great first impression based on our stay at Sunset Village.
