Good hotel but came at beginning of season.

Just come back from staying at sunset village. The first day we landed it was raining so we was hoping the hotel would make up for it. When we arrived we got a nice arrival by the lady who works here. Our apartment was massive and lovely, we had 2 bedrooms, one with double bed and one with 2 single beds, a bathroom, living area and a kitchen area with sink, fridge and hob. The apartment was clean and nice. The resort was only just opening for the season so everything was being delivered. The lady who works here could not do enough for you, anything you want she would help you. The location is good, about 10/15 min walk or 5mins on the dolmush into dolphin square, if you are going for a meal some resturaunts offer a pick up service. Overall it was a good stay and I would Concider coming back during season!

I stayed here for a week at the end of July with my 2 kids (age 12 & 11). The staff were incredibly friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The bar & snack service was quick, food delicious & reasonably priced.
The apartment themselves were spacious but very basically furnished & could do with a makeover. The kitchen is equipped with most things you need for self catering but as its so cheap to eat out, we only used the fridge to keep the water chilled! The aircon only works in the main bedroom so in addition to paying for this, we also hired fans to try & keep the heat under control.... It was well over 120 degrees every day.
The pool was cleaned daily & altho there were guests who put their towels out to secure a sunbed, we didnt have a problem getting one.
Location wise its very much on the outskirts of Altinkum so its either a half hour walk into town or you can catch the dolmus. There are however plenty of restaurants & bars locally.
Can recommend both the Quiz Night & Bbq night at Sunset Village.
This was our first visit to Turkey & overall we had a great first impression based on our stay at Sunset Village.

Loved it, amazing people and amazing fun! The staff become like family! Definitely recommend! Also the marina restraunt and penguin bar just down the road! Spent most days going between the two! Also great staff! Loved every minute! Unfortunately myself and my boyfriend ended up in hospital but the staff at sunset were great, called our doctors car made sure we were ok for days after. Would go back in a heartbeat!

Just got back after two weeks at the sunset village. It was our second visit and it will probably be our last .It definitely needs a make over.it really shows that very little is done from year to year which is sad because it could be a great place to stay.the staff bless them work really hard.and i think the location is great.sadly the staff and location do not make a holiday. The accommodation means more.the rooms are for six people but we had just two cups which were so chipped we went to the local migros and bought our own.as we did with the glasses because all we had was a pint efes glass.i knew you could not self cater at the apartments and i never intended to but for anyone going there with the intention of self catering will be in for a surprise mould and dirty stains in the shower were shocking.and this as nothing to do with the staff its the owner not investing in the apartments.i would not recommend these apartments after this visit.
