“Excellent, they didn´t mind a very wet walker in their 5 star guest house”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 October 2012

Stayed there for just one night at the beginning of my SWCP walk. Allthough I arrived soaking wet and had the impression that this guest house caters more for the upper market they didn´t let me feel that I was not welcome. Just the opposite. Room and bedding faboulous, although the room was not en-suite it nevertheless had a private bathroom with all amenities and a wonderful hot shower. Breakfast excellent. Only slight disadvantage is that you can hear your neighbours as the house is very old (15th century?). Still, I would certainly come back.

Thank you for taking the time to write a lovely review, we are always happy to hear our guests have enjoyed their stay. We were sorry that you could hear your neighbours, this is not normally a problem but we will keep an eye of this in the future. Hope to see you again some time.

just returned from a 2 day break at Tudor Cottage . Had a wonderful stay ,the cottage is beautiful, typical of the old chocolate box pictures . stunning views ,and so peaceful and full of charm and character . Asher and Anne are excellent hosts so helpful and extremely friendly , breakfast is excellent and lots of options to choose and certainly sets you up for the day .the beach is only a 10 minute walk away . Ideal as a base for exploring the local villages of lynton and lynmouth , Dunston town and Castle to name but a few .There are many walks to do ranging from a gentle stroll to the more adventurous hikes . the smell of freshly baked bread in a morning was the icing on the cake for me .will certainly be returning.

We wanted somewhere to escape to for one night and were lucky to get into this gem of a B&B. Our hosts were very accommodating and the B&B was wonderfully clean and well equipped. We enjoyed homemade cake in the garden with a large pot of tea watching the sheep in the field. It was bliss! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who enjoys peace & quiet in the stunning countryside. I can't wait to go back. I think we've found our new home-from-home. Thank you

Thanks to Anne and Ash we had a lovely stay at Tudor Cottage. Great as a weekend getaway - the house has a really warm cosy feel to it, very comfortable, hot shower, lovely gardens, 10 minute walk to the 'stone' beach, 20 minute walk to nearby Porlock for dinner. Anne kindly made recommendations and a booking for dinner and made us a lovely cup of tea and cake on arrival. Breakfast was fantastic and it was nice to chat with some other travellers. Torches are provided for the walk. Clean, comfortable, great value and a cute quintessential English B&B experience - what else could you ask for?

Last month we stayed in this charming 15th Century period cottage that retains a wonderful 'old worlde' feel, incorporating modern amenities. Situated in a village that steps back in time, away from the hustle and bustle of modern life. Ash and Anne were great hosts, so friendly we felt like we'd known them for years! They were always helpful with a great knowledge of the area and places to visit during our stay. For those with a 'healthy' appetite the traditional English breakfast does not fail to deliver and there are also many other options to choose from. The fresh daily home baked bread (one of Ash's specialities) was delicious! Would recommend this b&b to anyone, we will certainly be going back again....book early to avoid disappointment!

This charming 15th Century Cottage is located in the National Trust Village of Bossington. It has been tastefully modernised and, with its lovely rural setting, it is a quiet and peaceful retreat.
Anne and Ash are friendly and helpful hosts and made our stay extremely enjoyable. The rooms are comfortable and very clean and Anne has added many little touches to enhance your stay.

We stayed in Luccombe which is a double room with a separate private bathroom just down the hall. Whilst there were no problems with using the separate bathroom, I would probably book Selworthy which has an ensuite if I were lucky enough to stay at Tudor Cottage again.

The breakfasts are delicious and you can order an evening meal if desired. There are lovely walks close by in Exmoor National Park and don't miss visiting the gorgeous villages of Selworthy and Dunster which are a short drive away. I would have no hesitation in recommending Tudor Cottage.

Lovely place for walkers and bikers. Cottage very clean with nice rooms (Selworthy en suite), and comfy beds. In each room you will find homemade flapjack, selections of wines and spirits. there is also teapot and torch just in case .... Anne and Ash are very friendly, can advice where to spend time and if you need an accurate map they have it for you as well. Breakfast was delicious with best bacon and sausages i have ever had. Highly recommended Marta & Lukasz
