We decided to celebrate my birthday here and what an awesome night we had. We were made so welcome and knew that the night was going to be a good one. The staff could not have been more helpful.
The choice of food is very good and Staff are always happy to make adjustments to individual taste as everything is freshly cooked, no prepared microwaved curries here! There are delicious vegetarian options also.
Each meal arrived looking so colourful and appertising with healthy sized portions. I selected Ambot Tik and it was delicious, a perfect balance of spices along with King prawns. My son was very adventurous and chose the hot Naga lamb which he thoroughly enjoyed. The naan breads were excellent, cooked to perfection, the mushroom rice was a meal in itself!
We had an excellent night and We all thoroughly enjoyed our night there. The house wine was good.We will be back for sure , thank you for making our night out so special.
It is so good to be able to go out in Abertillery to a restaurant, especially when the food and service is so good.

The curry was very thin, not much chicken and bland. The rice is nice though. Also had take-away from them, portions are small and not worth the money. Not as expected, wont be going there or buying/ordering again.

Ordered a take away as we have several times before. While waiting to collect the lady behind the counter (who is actually lovely) told us there was a new menu and to take one. Upon getting the take away home the containers were only half full where they usually are full. Phoned up and the manager stated that its always been that way and if you want the full containers you have to ask and it costs more. Never had to ask before and the price was the same as previous. Also nothing on the menu of different sizes. Was offered a "discount" next time which wasnt acceptable and said we wanted the correct amount. After some battling and saying a topup wasnt on they eventually agreed to replace it but had to drive back there. The foods been changing recently and isnt the best its been, probably wont be long again before its under new management
So basically if you want enough food for 1 person you now have to ask or you get a small amount of sauce splashing around the bottom of a container

We came expecting a reasonable meal and left with the memory of a fantastic one. We met for the evening for a family supper, welcomed by a lovely friendly waitress who was so happy to make great suggestions about the menu. Two of our party have travelled to India many times, and have tried several Indian dishes, we were certainly not dissapointed by what was presented that evening.
The place is spotless, crisp white cloths on the table and linen serviettes, all served on beautiful china. Our host was such a charming man and this place deserves to be put on the map. The prices are excellent infact Abergavenny where we normally have a curry are put to shame on all accounts.

Thankyou for a great evening
