Although ours was a brief visit, we were really impressed - Val and Keith have an amazing place, were so welcoming, and the room was lovely. Absolutely everything has been thought through down to the tiniest detail. Certainly the best B&B either of us have ever stayed in, and actually better than any hotel I've come across.
Breakfast was great, a wide choice, perfectly cooked. We can't compliment Coedlys highly enough and will definitely be back for a longer stay.

What a fantastic place to stay. We arrived in the afternoon and were greeted by an array of ducks, chickens and the three gorgeous woofies, Molly, Buddy and Alfie. Val settled us into our room and set up homemade welsh cakes and coffee in the sitting room for us, delicious.
We spent about an hour just sitting on the swing looking at the stunning views in the company of a very friendly ginger tom, there are two Calvin and Hobbs, before heading back to our room - the Robin room for a nap before heading out for dinner.
The Robin Room is stunning, gorgeous antique bed and lovely furniture as well as all mod cons such as TV and Ipod dock. They think of everything, from the informative guest book to the binoculars and guide to birds. Fab en-suite with an array of toiletries for guest use, including Molton Brown hand wash and lotion. In our room happened to be the Naran-ji fragrance which is my favourite.
It was our Anniversary and Val had made a booking for us in the Green Room in Laugharne (see seperate review). She also went to the trouble of printing out directions for us - so helpful.
After a wonderful sleep we awoke to a gorgeous fresh cooked breakfast with more choice of jams/preserves than I have ever seen outside of a farm shop.
I would recommend this B&B to anyone, it really is no surprise that it has won so many awards.

What a super B&B to stay in! Beautiful location with a wide-open vista across the valley. Our room was a complete delight, bright with sumptuous fittings, immaculately clean and splendid views across the valley. Our welcome was enthusiastic (from the three dogs!) and warm and inviting from Val. There was a very helpful and comprehensive 'Guest Guidance' book full of restaurant and local information. Breakfast was something not to be missed and was served at our requested time, with seemingly no effort and plenty of choices. We can only recommend this B&B very highly and we are definitely going back. It certainly deserves it's 5 star rating.
