“Very relaxing break”
Reviewed 10 August 2014

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very welcoming with exceptional service from all the staff. The evening meal was excellent and the breakfast was of high quality produce. We look forward to returning in the future.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Garden Room which had it's own parking space just outside. The views of the Vin...

We chose this as our wedding venue and, as a previous reviewer said, the minute we walked in, we knew it was the perfect venue. It has charm and character and doesn't come across as a "meat-factory" wedding venue. Amanda was relaxed and helpful when we were planning with her and completely on the ball when it came to the actual event - we didn't have to worry about a single thing, which is just how it should be. The food was absolutely delicious and the other primary reason for choosing Jabajak. We filled the rooms with friends and family and everyone was very complimentary - and the grain store, which was the bridal suite was absolutely beautiful.

Breakfast was also good, with plenty of options and goodness knows how the staff managed to be so bright and alert considering the long day before!

We can't thank Amanda and all the staff enough. We are regular visitors to Jabajak now and the quality is always consistently good.

Room Tip: We've stayed in the grain store twice - worth every penny!

After spending a quite idealic week in Pembrookshire Jabajak was hopefully going to be a fitting end to a lovely week but it was a disappointment.
On arrival no appointed car parking, staff had parked their vehicals in the most prominant position for dropping off luggage. Main car park 80 mts away across a wet lawn.
Nice and comfortable room and a lovely bathroom which was expected for the price.
But then it just failed to deliver on most counts. On going for drinks and dinner we both of asked for bloody mary's but they had no tomato juice, the girl saying they'd had to throw it away..?
As for the meal, that just did not stack up, quite bland and over priced.
Having asked the time for breakfast on the Sunday morning it was stated that we needed to attend before 9.30am because staff had something prebooked that morning, horse riding or something.
Breakfast...No menu, when asked if they had fruit the girl said I'll see.. no reply came. Apart from three basic cereal's, or yogurt there were two choices, full cooked or scrambled egg and salmon, these were nice.
I had booked this on the rating on Tripadvisor, and I have to say that the rating's do not reflect the experience we had, both on quality or service. We wondered if we had been spoilt buy the quality of accommodation we had experience prior to arriving here but, on reflection, it was not the case. This place just did not deliver or reflect the rating it seems to have.

Originally saw this lovely place on 'Four in a bed' and chose the Grain Store Suite to stay in over our anniversary--for 3 nights. It really is special and so are the staff headed by Amanda--we called her our No: 1 tourist rep for S Wales as she told us all the best places to visit whilst we were there--and she was 'spot on'. The food too is very very good.

Room Tip: I think you will find all the rooms are good--and also value for money from £80 ish to suites for £1...

I don't normally leave reviews but after spending this weekend at Jabajaks for my sisters wedding I simply had to let people know how amazing this place is! The grounds are beautiful, the rooms cosy and homely. Small touches such as mineral water and a fruit drink for children on the tea coffee tray make such a difference. The rooms were clean and homely. The suite my sister had as her bridal suite was out of this world as was the garden suite that my grandparents had. Nothing was too much trouble for the team at Jabajaks and our every need was thought of before we even asked. My sisters wedding went without a hitch with the team at Jabajaks quietly milling around in the background ensuring all the guests were happy. After working until the early hours keeping party guests happy they were back up serving us breakfast with a smile just a few hours later. The quote on their twitter page about arriving as guests but leaving as friends couldn't be more true. I spent all day yesterday wishing I was still there enjoying the sunshine in the vineyard. Thanks Jabajaks we will be back!

As soon as my partner and I walked into Jabajak, we knew instantly how special the venue and staff were. We were made to feel so welcome, we couldn't wait to get married there. The whole planning process was made so easy since Amanda and staff are so professional. Every little detail was catered for to perfection, even down to designing a menu specifically to fit with our Welsh theme...and designing one of the most delicious puddings I've ever had! On our wedding day everything was stunning. The staff took care of every detail and went out of their way to make us and our guests feel special. The venue looked absolutely beautiful and all of our guests raved about the fantastic food. We couldn't have asked for a better venue or more wonderful hosts for our wedding. Thank you so much.

I came here with a group of work colleagues. We pre ordered our food a couple of hours before as we were a big group. The food and service was amazing. The fillet steak was one of the best I've had. We recommend both the accommodation and restaurant to any visitors we have to our work place.
