I knew this was going to be fun the moment Nick arrived to collect all 8 of us in his Ford Ranger! We chose Jabberwocky because the thought of "your yacht for the day" really appealed to us and that is EXACTLY what it is. We were greeted on board this beautiful craft by Kaye who really couldn't do enough for us. The sailing was very interesting and both Nick and Kaye do everything they can to involve the whole party in the running of the yacht. We had our two nephews with us (aged 3 & 4) and they were involved also. When we dropped anchor in Carlisle Bay we went for some fine snorkelling in crystal clear waters where the fish and rays were plentiful. As was the feast Kaye had prepared while we were swimming. Lunch really was first class and there was something for everyone's taste. Sticky chicken, salads, pastas cold meats breads olives and more. A nice selection of wines and beers were available ALL day! The whole day was worth it just for Kaye's "shark bite" rum punch which was the best! Overall we were so impressed with Nick and Kaye's knowledge of the island and it's surrounding waters and the little touches like feeding the fish and the gulls which the children loved. Would HIGHLY recommend this trip it is a must! Thanks again guys.

“Best experience for a lifetime of memories!!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 May 2014

I surprised my girlfriend with a day on the water with this beautiful 50ft sailboat sailing around the island. The boat was bigger than I thought originally and Nick and Kaye were wonderful, knowledgeable and very friendly. The boat was in excellent condition and was fitted with 4 rooms, bathrooms, kitchen and plenty of space to sit around or lay out on top to catch some sun. Nick even let me help raise one of the sails and drive the boat!!!! Great picture opportunities.

We started the day with some safety instructions about sailing and being on a boat. Nick also shared a lot of "fun facts" about the boat which I found very interesting. After we left the harbor we had some snacks and sailed around the south end to a remote area where we anchored and snorkeled on a reef. While we snorkeled Kaye fixed us up a flavorful lunch (ginger chicken) and we drank some wine. Then after lunch we headed back out to snorkel some more since we couldn't get enough. We even got to feed the fish some of our lunch left overs!

After snorkeling we headed back to the West side of the island and enjoyed some more snacks and wine. When we got to the West end we anchored again to watch the sunset. Kaye came up top and took some pictures of us and played some music from our MP3 player. While enjoying the sunset I proposed to my girlfriend! She said yes of course and how could she not with how romantic the day had gone. Kaye came back up front to bring us some champagne and take some more pictures.

Nick/Kaye was aware of my plans and offered some options on where and when to propose. If I was to propose on the beach they would have taken me to a different beach with beautiful sand and scenery. Since I wanted to do it at sunset we sailed on the West side of the island. The scenery was still amazon. Nick did warn that the sunset is a gamble as sometimes the sun will set behind a layer of clouds on the horizon. You really don't know until about 15 minutes prior to the sunset. Luckily for me the sunset came through at the end. Even if the sun sets behind the clouds it is still beautiful with the colors. I watched the sunset each night prior and although some of the set behind the layer of clouds it was still beautiful.

Overall the experience was awesome and couldn't have asked for anything better. Nick and Kaye were the best and helped coordinate the proposal details. I would definitely recommend them to friend and certainly go back on a voyage the next time I am in Antigua.

“A great day out!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 May 2014

We had a fantastic time on the Jabberwocky, and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and exciting day out in Antigua. Nick and Kaye were friendly and knowledgable. Over the course of the journey we talked with Nick and Kaye about operating a sail boat, fishing, the island, our vacation and life in general. On the way out we had some great views of the island and the sea, including some cautious sea-turtles. We had the opportunity to steer the boat once we got out of harbor, which was a great experience. We stopped at Carlisle bay for a lovely afternoon of snorkeling, swimming and had a delicious lunch of ginger chicken, fresh greens, fruit and rice. The entire day was pleasant and exciting, and well worth the cost. I would do it again!

“Delightful sail!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 May 2014

Nick and Kay are fantastic hosts. They share tremendous aount of history of the island, and as for us non sailors, a lot about the physics of sailing. The lunch was superior to our hotel, and we had a truly grand time.
