We booked a table for dinner for 4 people we were seated at a very nice table and the order was taken. 2 red snappers catch of the day 1 steak dish and one vegetarian. After 1hour the food arrived at that point we were told there was only one red snapper and would we like to order something different, we asked why we had not been informed after the order was placed 1 hour ago. No satisfactory explanation was given, so I elected not to place a further order, but was offered a desert which we declined. The red snapper that was served was on a bed of cold mash potato which in turn made the snapper cold. The sauce with the steak dish was cold and the vegetarian dish was cold. After this disappointment we spoke with the supervisor who said she would adjust the bill to reflect our dissatisfaction, so on checking the bill we found that it was a bill for four showing the red snapper that had not arrived, adding insult to injury.
We have visited Antigua 5 times and this is the worst meal ever. Don't let it put you off of Antigua!!

An informal and relaxing hotel with a breathtaking view from the patio. The staff are very accomodating and cater to your every need and the mouth watering cuisine at the Bayhouse Restaurant and Bar leaves you wanting for more. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Keep up the great service.

A really lovely, quiet and relaxing spot. The main area is really well set up, with the pool next to a huge patio with the restaurant and bar, all with a beautiful view overlooking the ocean. The staff are all lovely, friendly people. Such a nice place to stay!

As frequent travellers to the West Indies we have stayed at the Trade Winds Hotel on many occasions. It retains its informality and charm whilst providing slick and very pleasant service, food is of the highest standard and the views from the terrace breathtaking. This is not a package holiday destination, rather a working hotel that provides excellent value for money and is well worth a visit for anyone wishing to sample the excellent cuisine available in the Bay House restaurant

Room Tip: Make the booking yourself and talk to the front desk about exactly what you want, virtually all the rooms have a sea view

Excellent Dinner overlooking the caribbean . Great service from very friendly staff. I would recommend arriving just before sunset, have a bayhouse special cocktail while the sun sets and then I ordered the seafood grill which was delicious.
