Went here for our wedding and we were treated like royalty. Nothing was too much for them, they did everything we asked of them. Wedding went perfectly. Try the villa room as they were imense. Any questions please feel free to ask.

I stayed in a lovely room which was kept immaculately clean throughout my stay. The views were some of the best I have seen. The sea was clear turquoise with a warmth and stillness which made swimming in the sea a joy.
I dined at all three restaurants and found the food delicious and the service very attentive.
The best meal was the rib eye steak which was superb!
The hotel staff were friendly, always calling me by my name and always there to help!
I love the coconut crush - simply delicious.
I used the gym everyday during my stay to burn off the calories of the coconut crushes! It was air conditioned and had enough equipment that is the same as my London gym to keep me fit whilst away.
I have stayed in so many great hotels and love Bluewaters for the relaxing ambiance and setting.

We spent ten days at Blue Waters staying in the wonderful Cove Suites. The accommodation is spacious and very well maintained and each block has its own infinity pool. The bar service was generally good at the Suites but the serving of fruit, cold towels and sorbets was inconsistent.
The check in service was good with cold towels and drinks being brought to you as you filled in all the necessary paperwork.
The food overall was average - this is based on the Cove Restaurant being very good with a good choice of meals and wine. Bartleys was billed as Mediterranean but the food was average and the service very poor. We waited nearly an hour between starters and main course on one occasion.
Breakfast and Lunch is served in the Palm Restaurant. There is a good choice of food at breakfast, fresh fruit, pastries, eggs cooked to order and the usual fried accompaniments. Service again was patchy - we ordered coffee as soon as we went in but there were a number of occasions where we had finished eating before the coffee arrived. Lunch offered a buffet with occasional BBQ which was OK. Evening meals in the Palm were sometimes very good but often about average.
The hotel seems to lack consistency in service and food quality. We did bring this to the attention of the General Manager while we were there and we were told that there are plans to improve both in the future
The staff throughout the resort are friendly and very helpful.
The beach at the resort is a little disappointing as it is very narrow and small compared to some of theother spectacular beaches in Antigua. If you want a beautiful beach this is not the resort for you.
We travelled with Virgin and the highlight of our holiday was the Virgins Ahoy boat trip. The boat wasn't too crowded and the trip offers you the chance to circumnavigate the island as well as a stop at Green Island for lunch and snorkelling. We didn't snorkel as there was a wall of jellyfish on the way out to the reef caused by the storms the day before.
Overall we were pleased with the accommodation but felt that the food and service did not match.

We have just got back from a ten day amazing holiday at the Bluewaters on an all inclusive basis. We had a deluxe beach front room. The room was clean, spacious and lovely. The bed was very comfortable. We were slightly disappointed with the bathroom as it was quite old fashioned however it was clean and the shower was really powerful so it did the job.

We enjoyed the food especially The Cove where we ate at three times. Dinner was always beautifully presented and the wine which was included in the AI package was very good. The AI package was well worth the price (this included breakfast/lunch/afternoon tea and dinner).

The beaches were small but were perfect. We enjoyed swimming in the crystal blue waters everyday. My husband full use of the watersports and used the hobbiecats and kayaks.

There were a few weddings going on whilst we were there and the wedding area looked beautiful.

All drinks were good especially the rum punch.

We are both vegetarian and spoke to the chef a few times to see if they could make different dishes for us. The chef was always accommodating.

The thing that really stood out for us was the service. It started from the beginning i.e. being greeted by the manager, with a cold towel and a drink. This service continued throughout our stay with staff taking the time to get to know you and remember your names.

I loved lounging around the pool on super comfy sunloungers and felt thoroughly spoiled when the staff went round with cold towels, fruit and sorbets.

The evening entertainment was good especially the live singers which were fantastic.

We hired a Jeep through the hotel and spent the day driving around to the different beaches (recommend Jumby Beach/Half Moon Bay – beautiful). We had a great day.

We took the hotel shuttle to St Johns ($8 each return) which was ok if you want to do duty free shopping however it was very hot and busy. Also be prepared to be pestered!

We loved this hotel especially the staff.

I would thoroughly recommend Blue waters & Antigua if you are looking for pure relaxation in beautiful surroundings

We cannot recommend this resort highly enough. The staff and the service are exceptional. There is a real feeling of space and you never feel that you are 'on top of each other'. Although the hotel is of a reasonable size, there is more of a feeling of a smaller resort as the rooms and suites are well spread out. The restaurants (all 3 of them) are wonderful, and every meal was deliicious. The buffet breakfast is varied and plentiful, and the lunch and dinner menus are also varied with something for everyone. The all-inclusive plan is a highly recommended way to stay and the value is superb. A rum or fruit punch is offered on arrival and we had a lovely welcome gift of a bottle of champagne and supper delivered to our room on the first night. We came to Blue Waters to get married and all the arrangements and the day itself went beautifully. We had a choice of bouquet, choice of cake, and the gazebo location is just stunning. We couldn't have asked for more from the holiday or the wedding and special thanks go to the Wedding Co-ordinator Mandie Braithwaite, who was an absolute star! We can honestly say that everyone from the cleaners to the General Manager offered us warmth and freindliness, and we will certainly be returning for one of our anniversarys!!

Upon arrival which is about 20 mins from ANU you are greeted to a rum punch upon check in and then escorted to your room. In our case the Cove suites. As we had 4 adults and 2 kids we had the penthouse which occupies 3 rooms. All ensuite, 2 of which are with claw baths and double sinks. The kids room has an ensuite with a rain shower. The kitchen facility is more than addequate yet as we were on an All inclusive option did not use it to its full potential. It does however have a microwave and full facilities. With this there is a large american fridge freezer. The fridge is stocked with a large selction of soft and alcoholic drinks of which when based on an AI option they are inclusive, The view of all the suites stretches the carribean sea and the resort in whole, which is to die for. In addition to this each of the 4 suites have there own private pool in addtion to the 3 pools in resort where drinks, fruits and cold towels are at hand. All of the drinks are premium brands which is good to see as usually the drinks on an all inclusive resort are normally local cheap versions of bacardi and various branded drinks. This on adds to the high level of food and drinks that are available. The food in the resort is of what i can only say of a high quality standard. Again in a resort property your expectations can be less than normal as it is cooked for the masses yet here the standards are exceptional with 3 resteraunts on offer.

The first one is the newly name BARTLEYS, this is a mediteranian themed resteraunt with around 15-20 tables being covered. The selection is varied and of a high standard. The second one is the Cove. This has just undertaken a change of menu and at the moment is based on an Asian theme which is refreshing as normally in the carribean you get inundated with jerk and pepperpot dishes, which although are nice can become repetitive. The choice varied from Pad Thai to coconut shrimp which are all of a very high standard and the same as the real thing. Having travelled extensivly throughout asia i can vouch for the detail given in presentation and the level of detail in the food itself. Chef by the way has won many awards including i believe best deserts in the carribean and after tasting the food and the deserts fully understand why.
The final resteraunt is the Palms, this is where the breakfast is served and all lunches. In addition they host a BBQ and different buffets which are all again hi speq.

I would have no problem recommending this resort to any one who wants a 5* resort in peaceful settings and the guarantee that they will be looked after. The staff are also the most friendliest that can be. Comparing this property to others in say Barbados , it really does win hands down and is a credit to the staff, Daniel and Alistair who help to manage a perfect part of paradise in Antigua. This is one of the very few hotels and resorts that i would come back to as we do look for quality in every detail when we go on holiday.

This trip was designed for us to kick back, relax and not feel we had to do anything and that is exactly what Blue Waters delivered. From the "kick" we received as a rum punch was thrust into our hands as we arrived to the complimentary extended use of the room due to our later flight, the service was impeccable.
All the staff from the manager to the beach attendants were always looking to help without being intruisve and had smiles constantly.
The room was extremely comfortabel and a with private balcony looking west out to sea towards the sunset.
You will need transport/ taxis if you wanted to explore the island and reception was on hand to offer help with car rentals (organised in a matter of hours) or bus rides into St Johns but really everything you need is in the hotel complex, from Spa to Tennis court, gym and 3 swimming pools.
The best feature was the overall feeling. The least was the food (apart from breakfast, which was amazing!). Go visit!!
