Dickenson Bay is not the best place to be on Antigua, but this is just a brilliant oasis. The apartments are perfectly fine, and set in wonderful tropical gardens. Best pool on Antigua in our opinion, set in the garden.
Fantastic staff ever-welcoming and helpful, and Coconut Grove restaurant on the beach proves that not all Caribbean cooking is terrible.
Don't be put off by first appearances as you arrive from carpark, we settled in very happily and could have stayed a few more days very contentedly.
You'll love it.

We were booked for a night in the Treehouse room and there was an issue with an unsecured door. When I brought this to the attention of the manager and owner, we were presented with two choices - they could add a deadbolt or we could move. We opted to move and ended up in a pleasant and spacious ground floor suite which opened to a pretty patio overlooking the gardens. The huge bed was comfortable (although the pillow had some hairs on it), the bathroom was clean, the kitchenette seemed well appointed and the living room was fine, although a tad dated. They provided nice touches such as large bottles of shampoo, liquid soap, shower gel, bug spray, etc. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the grounds were lovely. The beach directly in front is small but is kept clean. Over the righthand jetty, one has access to the crowded expanse of white sands in front of the row of Dickenson Bay hotels with their sea toys, excurions and bars while over the lefthand jetty one has access to another sprawling beach that is virtually empty. The restaurant on site - Coconut Grove - provides very good, if a bit pricey meals. If booking at Siboney, I would suggest not getting the treehouse room since that room is overpriced, rather run down and has a view of a corrugated roof. On the other hand, the suites are nice and I would recommend a stay in one of them.

We would highly recommend Siboney Beach Club. We found it on Tripadvisor and thoroughly enjoyed it. We had no prblems with mosquitoes, our room was spacious and very clean. We loved the beach and hotel. Staff was first rate and knew our names and eventually our preferences. The restaurant on premises was fine for breakfast and lunch, but definitely not the best one we ate at in Antigua. If one wants a 5 star hotel this is not it but if you want safe, friendly, clean and laid back accomodations we would recommend Siboney Beach Club.

Comfortable room overlooks lush tropical garden and pool were great, but it was Tony
Johnson and his friendly, knowledgeable staff who made our holiday exceptional.
We'll be back.

My wife and I have just returned from a most delightful vacation at Siboney. We wanted a quiet - romantic - personal beach holiday to celebrate our anniversary and we got it all with bonuses. Tony Johnson, owner/manager and his entire staff went out of their way to make our stay a memorable one, nothing was too much trouble for them. The beach is out of this world, we have been to Kailua, Bondi, Malibu and Durban to name a few. The setting is idyllic. Plenty of beach activity if you want it, sailing, diving, snorkelling and of course long uninterupted walks. There is no adequate public transport so if you want to explore the rest of the island you will need to rent a car or make a deal with the numerous taxi drivers. A truly stress free and relaxing location - we will return!

We found Siboney Beach Club through Trip Advisor - and we found a gem! Lovely, friendly staff, perfect location at the extreme end of Dickenson Bay, away from the crowds yet near enough to go places if we wanted.
Our mini apartment ( bedroom, lounge and balcony) looked out onto the wonderful lush gardens. The kitchenette was small and a bit shabby but was sufficient for all our needs - breakfast, the occasional snack lunch etc.
The small restaurant was virtually on the beach - high tide and your feet might get wet! Food was good and plentiful - though, like most of Antigua, fairly expensive.
We loved the technicolour gardens; walking just a few feet to either swimming pool or sea; the marvellous staff who immediately called us by first names and chatted as if we had known them for years.
There was nothing to dislike, except perhaps, the mosquitoes, who were kept at bay with sprays supplied in the rooms.
I dreaded leaving, although my holiday was to continue on other islands. Nothing matched up to my time at Siboney
.Without a doubt, we'll be back!
