“Good spot away from the crowds in St Johns”
Reviewed 7 January 2012

You'll need a car if you want to find this little deli restaurant. Fortunately, we'd hired a car and we found ourselves driving in to this little shopping complex as a result of having our luggage lost by Caribbean Air. But drawing upon the positives... we really enjoyed our lunch here. Its very clean and stylish, and we found it to be a nice respite from the heat, crowds and mayhem from within St Johns proper (especially down near Heritage Cay and the cruise ships). I ordered a meatball sandwich and my wife had a Greek salad, both of which were really tasty. I also had a glass of sauvignon blank which was crisp and dry. The whole thing cost us 80 EC, which was pretty good. Lots of other tasty morsels on the menu too.

“Good Food eat here sushi too”
Reviewed 5 January 2012

Strange location in a shopping plaze but the food is very good. The burgers are very good tell them to make the fries well done. A little on the pricey side but they use quality products. They also have a little sushi bar not too bad. I think you will like the Larder.

“Excellent!!”
Reviewed 30 November 2011

This little restaurant is just past the Epicurean and the movie Theatre, in the middle section of a strip mall. I had heard quite a bit about it, so we tried it out. As a "resident", and a devout meat eater, rumor had it they had an outstanding hamburger, "The Lander". They do. By far, the best hamburger on island. 34 EC for fries and a burger, not bad considering the quality. Also, they have a Sushi Chef and the Sushi is AWESOME. Average 44EC for a little Sushi. While the seating is outside, it is covered, the service was outstanding...not just excellent, outstanding. Casual dining, reasonably priced, very clean, excellent Sushi and a great hamburger. Can't go wrong here!!

“Smart & modern with an imaginative menu”
Reviewed 9 November 2011

It's worth taking the short drive from St John's to have lunch here. It's situated in a small, new shopping mall and the surroundings are plain but the food certainly is not. There is a good variety of fresh salads and a daily menu of soups and cooked meals which combine caribbean and international flavours. You can eat in or take away your meal. The food service area is spotlessly clean and the service is friendly and efficient. Our dishes were a pulled steak sandwich with spicy cabbage and fries and an excellent Greek salad with very fresh ingredients. It's very popular with the St John's business set so go before 1 o'clock for a relaxed lunch.
