What fun in Aruba spending the day at De Palm Island, for a low cost per person you get all the food and drink you want and many hours of activities, play time and leisure time. We were privilaged to a private snorkel tour by Bryon and Rashid - they were great, polite and informative!

We went to De Palm Island during our recent trip to Aruba and were disappointed with the food and attractions. It was over a $100 a person for all inclusive food, drink and amusements. The food was in a word - terrible. The breakfast was essentially day old fruit and scrambled eggs. I ended up having toast when I was unable to eat anything else. The servers in the dining area were very young adults that were more concerned with texting on their IPhones. Lunch was slightly better with fresher looking fruit but was pasta. We ended up having hot dogs from what they called the "grill". It was a fried hot dog and frozen French fries. The drinks were foul. The banana boat driver was just dangerous and found amusement in the struggle of one of the girls trying to get back on the raft after he purposefully dumped us. My husband had to help her back on or it wasn't going to happen and we would have just drifted while they laughed. The best part of the day was the Sea Trek which is an additional cost. They were the only professionals on the island. The water park would be okay for really young children and the beach was marginal compared to our hotel. The snorkeling was good since we had been snorkeling before but could have been obtained elsewhere for less money and with more instruction if you had never been before. If you decide to go anyway, I would pack snacks or be prepared to purchase them from the gift shop that is on the island. It seemed weird that they would sell food if everything was included but once they get you there you can either eat the crap they feed you or purchase edible fare in the shop.

The island was awesome ...we loved the private lagoons and the snorkeling. The food was surprisingly good. The private snorkeling tour (included in the price) was awesome ...Bryon and Rashid were terrific guides taking time to show us everything as well as being safe ...they are great assets to the attraction!

Whole day trip to this island is truly recommended. We enjoyed the banana boat ride, water park, snorkeling, and free salsa lesson. Another FUN day in Aruba!

My husband and I, along with our three children (ages 9, 7, and 5) spent the day at DePalm Island in late April, during a visit to Aruba.

What a gem this place is! We all had such a great time. We enjoyed the waterpark, banana boats, snorkling and the shade offered by the palapas. Food was good and drinks were great. I would love to have one of these places back home.

Great day out with the family. We enjoyed every minute and it was worth every penny.
