We purchased an all inclusive package to stay here. Because we golfed it was worthwhile. The golf course is lovely. The villa was very nice with not one but two bathrooms which was very handy for the two of us. The meals were okay but not great. We lobed having a washer and dryer in the room. There were a few little maintenance issues that needed attention which was given immediately upon request. The beaches are lovely and the pool was also very nice if a bit too chlorinated. We would consider staying here again.

Been here two years in a row with friends! One bedrooms are newly renovated and huge! Even the Studio's are big. Love the All-Inclusive package. All-inclusive plans are valid for the Sea Breeze Café, Mulligan's Bar & Restaurant, and the restaurants of the Divi & Tamarijn Aruba All Inclusive Resorts! Mulligans over looks the golf course great food has everything, Paparazzi is Italian, Ginger is Asian Fusion, and The Palm Grill oceanfront lets you do your own stir-fry in the center of the table. TONS of dining options. The swim up pool bar is great at the infinity pool! Beach is lovely! Great staff!

Room Tip: Get All inclusive, stay at Divi Village instead of the other Divi's in Aruba.

Enjoyed our studio room which was newly renovated with and updated kitchen, and comfortable bed. Loved being able to sit on the porch for coffee or our afternoon glass of wine and enjoy the breeze. It was wonderful to have a full size fridge so we could keep food and beverages on hand and saved quite a bit vs always having to buy all your meals out. We like our own small breakfast and packing a lunch to eat at the beach vs the all inclusive which means having to be waited on! We even made frozen drinks and stored them in a freezer bag to bring to the beach.

This is an older hotel vs the golf villas but it's still nice. I enjoy being away from the high-rise hotel madness. I will caution you to be aware, especially at nighttime to watch out for the staff who drive like race car drivers on the property. It seems that guests/pedestrians are a bother to them.

Met some wonderful people at the small bar by the pool and Jimmy the bartender was terrific. The beach is nice and at least when we were there it wasn't too crowded. You do have to trade in a towel in order to get one but it was pretty convenient. The infinity pool is loud, lots of kids, bingo, swim up bar, etc.

I love how convenient this hotel is to downtown, beaches, high rise area and the grocery store. It's a great place overall.

Room Tip: third floor to be above noise

We had a wonderful stay at the Marriott Resort and Stellaris Casino for 7 days. On the 7th day we found out that because of weather on the East Coast of the US our flight home was cancelled and that we would have to stay in Aruba for 4 extra days (this was not a good thing). We couldn't stay at the Marriott any longer - they were booked. I looked through Expedia for a well-priced hotel (we had already spent our vacation budget) and this came up. It sounded wonderful but turned out to be a bust.
Our room was passable. Not great. Not horrible. Passable.
You get around the resorts with golf cart shuttles. A call to the front desk is supposed to send one to your room to pick you up. The first time we did this - it seemed it was there instantly. Never again did we see a shuttle after requesting one (except on check-out - but then you have to wait because you have your luggage). The shuttle did take us to the Alhambra Casino also - which was nice.
We walked to Ling & Sons grocery to get breakfasts and snacks for our room. The smell that we had to endure to get there was unreal. It smelled like raw sewage and there were gross ponds on the side of the road right by our room!!
We went to the beach the day after we arrived here and it had the same sewage smell as we smelled the day before. I don't know how anyone could stand that. Ruined the tranquility completely. We never returned to the beach by our room.
We did enjoy the other pools in the resort (Tamarijn lobby, Village - Infinity Pool, etc) but stayed far away from our room (inside our room there was no smell).
In order to get free wifi they force you to do a Facebook check-in. Every day. And on top of that the check-in is incorrect. It says you are in North Carolina - talk about confusing my friends! And what if you didn't have Facebook - would you have to sign up to get wifi? And even after doing the check-in the wifi was VERY sketchy.
We did enjoy Mulligan's a lot. A nice, reasonably priced restaurant right on the golf course. We watched the wild card play off games here too while having a drink - very nice.
All in all I am thankful for the room on short notice - but I would not return.

Been to Aruba 3 times. Spent the holidays at the resort. Overall good experience. Rooms are decent. Could use a refreshing. Crossing the street to be beach is ok. The beach is great though. Much more quiet than high rise hotel zone in Aruba. A couple of pools. One really good. Food is not as good as other places in Aruba. Would return for the beach.

We swapped into this resort through our RCI timeshare and spent a week from Dec. 27 through January 4th.

Travel to the resort from the Airport is easy, about 15 minutes by taxi from the airport for a cost of $22 for each taxi. A taxi can only legally carry 5 people, so if your party is bigger, expect to take two taxis, or if a van should elect to take your bigger party, pay double the fee. Our flight arrived at around 10pm and we had to wait inline for about 45 minutes at the taxi stand.

The resort itself is a little older. It is set in the center of a golf course, and is about a 10 minute walk to the beach from the pool area. You have to cross a fairly busy road to get to the beach also. The accommodations are set in blocks, each with 3 floors and six rooms on each floor. There are no elevators so beware if you have older folks, or people who have issues with stairs in your group.

There is central pool with a slide, volleyball net, and in-pool bar. It is not heated, but was very clean and pleasant once you are in it. They play music during the day from the pool bar, however, the selection they have is somewhat limited and you hear the same songs...a lot.

The resort has shuttle carts that will pick you up and drive you around the Divi 3 resorts. So you can travel out to restaurants or casinos without having to walk very far at all if you so choose.

The grocery store is a little further out, with a 5 minute walk from the edge of the resort. You can walk to the grocery store in about 20 minutes without using the shuttles if you feel like it. It has everything you would expect from a major grocery store, but was a good deal more expensive than the US. The quality of the produce and meat was also much better and fresher than we experience in Florida. Be careful walking on the public streets, they are very uneven and have lots of trip hazards.

There are a number of restaurants on / adjacent to the resort, so there are plenty of options for eating out. Mulligans (on-site) had a good menu and produced good food. We had a breakfast and two dinners in this restaurant and enjoyed them all. There is a steakhouse, Windows, on-site also, however we were not able to get a reasonable reservation time for dinner and consequently didn't use this restaurant.

On the topic of reservations, we were advised to make reservations for restaurants, and they always seemed to have limited availability. However, when we actually got to the restaurants, very few tables seemed to be occupied for the duration of our meals. Moral, if you can't get the reservation you want, you may just want to show up anyway.

There is no on-site evening entertainment so plan on going out if you want to do anything except relax.

The staff at the resort are very accommodating (especially Ryan) and aim to provide good service. We had to interact with them on a number of occasions and found them to be professional, quick and friendly.

One big thing to mention with Aruba is the wind. The island is always subject to the trade winds and consequently it feels pleasant and cool all the time. You do get showers from time to time, but it normally sunny with passing clouds. WATCH OUT FOR THE SUN! With the breezy environment and the pleasant temperature, it is very, very, very easy to get burned. The locals recommend SPF 75 sunscreen. We used SPF 50 and had to reapply frequently to avoid being burned by the sun.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay and enjoyed the resort.

Room Tip: Remember there are no elevators, and if you want to be close to the pool, your choice is limited to...

Second time stayed at Divi Village Golf and Beach Resort. This is a family resort, very quite, nice pools (one with waterslide, infinite sight and bar) , nearby the beach (200 mts), you can do walking or by hotel shuttle. Big rooms, with nice view to the golf course, full kitchen with all appliance, W/D very convenience with kids. If you want some night activities, you can go to Tamarijn hotel across the street. Beach is HUGE!!!! and not overcrowded, specially in December when the island is full. Special thanks to Kelly and Maritza our unit cleaning staff, who always were pending of everything in our room!!!!

Room Tip: Choose ground floor!!!
