We stayed in one of the timeshare condos. The main bathroom was huge, nice and spacious condo. The place for sure needs some TLC, really not very clean and could use a big scrubbing. If I was an owner, I would be very upset about things not being kept up.

Crazy that you cant get a fresh towel for the beach/pool when you want one. I don't know how many times we went to exchange our towels to have no one there to help us. Would have been nice to just be able to pick one up whenever.

We had to beg for fresh bathroom towels, the maids would come and pick up but not replenish.

I slept on the pullout couch and really was pretty comfortable.
We enjoyed the outside deck, the quiet pool and rooftop hut tub.

FYI, bring mosquito spray. They were really bad at the bar, restaurant area. Couldn't believe how many bites I came home with. The $12.00 I spent on Aruba repellent was a waste, it didn't help at all.

We found the bartender to be very unfriendly and not inviting. We still hung out there since it was convenient. Jimmy's across the street was so much more fun and friendly. The food was on the spendy side but pretty good.

Had the worst facial I have ever had at the spa, so that was a waste of $115.00.

The beach is beautiful and right across the street so only a little walk.

Went with a group of friends on our first trip to Aruba. Since none of us had been before, we were not sure if it was better to stay in the high rise or low rise area. Having just spent 1 week on the island, we all agree that the low rise area is much better an the Divi Village is a great resort. Several pools to lounge by and we never had any problem finding 6 chairs together. The beach was just across the street and it was much nicer than Palm and Eagle beaches. In fact, after we went to the Palm Beach once we decided that the beach by the Divi was much better. Palm Beach is way too crowded and seemed like spring break. Druif Beach next to the Divi was much more spacious and less crowded. The rooms at the Divi Village were great. We booked a 1 bedroom suite. All of our friends had different rooms and layouts, but all 3 rooms were very nice. I loved having the space to spread out. Much better than staying in just a hotel room. I would highly recommend the Divi Village to anyone going to Aruba.

We stayed here with young children and the property has an array of great pools for them to swim in. The restaurant on the golf course is good as well. This property is down the road a bit from the central part of Aruba, where all the main attractions, hotels, resorts and restaurants are. It is not on the beach but the golf property it is on is very nice and well maintained. Staff is reasonably helpful but not the greatest I have experienced. Beautiful beach across the street that requires about 5 or 10 minutes of a walk depending on where you are on the property. We stayed in a one bedroom condo with 2 baths and a pull out for our daughter, and the kitchen was well maintained. All in all very comfortable.

Some notes on Aruba itself: great place to visit but realize that the water may be cold if you visit during North American winters. The water is warmest between May and October. You are really taking a chance on very cold water between November and April. Beautifully blue though and the beach is excellent to run or walk on. The central town of Aruba has nice places to eat, good coffee and shops, and is generally pretty touristy. If you rent a car, realize that the car rental companies really take advantage of you in Aruba. We rented a bomb from Thrifty and it was literally a piece of junk, and looked like one, but it got us around. We went to the light tower at the end of the strip and that is certainly something to see. I've included some photos of the restaurant there and the sunset. Aruba is a good destination for families or couples, just go during the right time of year as its not always warm.

I usually stay at Divi Village every year for New Years. This year I got stuck after a snow storm hit the US. I went back to Divi and talked to a manager, Carol. She was able to find a room for me to stay until I could fly out the next week. The whole staff was very kind to all the people stranded. They really rolled out the welcome mat and made every one comfortable. I hope I get stuck again next year!

Room Tip: I love the back area near the tennis courts. There is a pool there that is very nice. It is a quie...

We purchased an all inclusive package to stay here. Because we golfed it was worthwhile. The golf course is lovely. The villa was very nice with not one but two bathrooms which was very handy for the two of us. The meals were okay but not great. We lobed having a washer and dryer in the room. There were a few little maintenance issues that needed attention which was given immediately upon request. The beaches are lovely and the pool was also very nice if a bit too chlorinated. We would consider staying here again.

Been here two years in a row with friends! One bedrooms are newly renovated and huge! Even the Studio's are big. Love the All-Inclusive package. All-inclusive plans are valid for the Sea Breeze Café, Mulligan's Bar & Restaurant, and the restaurants of the Divi & Tamarijn Aruba All Inclusive Resorts! Mulligans over looks the golf course great food has everything, Paparazzi is Italian, Ginger is Asian Fusion, and The Palm Grill oceanfront lets you do your own stir-fry in the center of the table. TONS of dining options. The swim up pool bar is great at the infinity pool! Beach is lovely! Great staff!

Room Tip: Get All inclusive, stay at Divi Village instead of the other Divi's in Aruba.

Enjoyed our studio room which was newly renovated with and updated kitchen, and comfortable bed. Loved being able to sit on the porch for coffee or our afternoon glass of wine and enjoy the breeze. It was wonderful to have a full size fridge so we could keep food and beverages on hand and saved quite a bit vs always having to buy all your meals out. We like our own small breakfast and packing a lunch to eat at the beach vs the all inclusive which means having to be waited on! We even made frozen drinks and stored them in a freezer bag to bring to the beach.

This is an older hotel vs the golf villas but it's still nice. I enjoy being away from the high-rise hotel madness. I will caution you to be aware, especially at nighttime to watch out for the staff who drive like race car drivers on the property. It seems that guests/pedestrians are a bother to them.

Met some wonderful people at the small bar by the pool and Jimmy the bartender was terrific. The beach is nice and at least when we were there it wasn't too crowded. You do have to trade in a towel in order to get one but it was pretty convenient. The infinity pool is loud, lots of kids, bingo, swim up bar, etc.

I love how convenient this hotel is to downtown, beaches, high rise area and the grocery store. It's a great place overall.

Room Tip: third floor to be above noise
