This is our Home away from Home for March. As Timeshare owners we come every year for two weeks because the weather never fails-always sunny, breezy with little or no rain. This year the Divi added a new Grill at the infinity pool which just adds greater value to the Resort. Most of the Eagles and Birdies around the pool received a new exterior paint job(long over due) and new lighting.

You just can't beat the Aruba for a Holiday. Great Island, Weather, Resort and so on. For some reason people think Aruba is exspensive and in fact it really is not if you do your homework. Its the only island that offers great attractions, tours and 100's of quality restaurants.

Pack you bags and go.

P.S. There are lots of web sites that you can rent timeshare owners units for alot less than going directly.

Room Tip: If posible try and get a 1 bredroom golf villa they are amazing and close to the pool.

This is the second time in two years we have gone to Divi Village and we will definitely be back! Eagle Beach, which is right across the street one minute from our room as well as the pool, is probably one of the prettiest and swim friendly beaches in the world. Powdery sand, plenty of palapa's ( an open-sided dwelling with a thatched roof made of dried palm leaves) to sit under, and perfect weather (88 for a high every day and 77 for a low). The rooms have kitchens so we made ourselves coffee and breakfast every day AFTER we brought our morning coffee to the beach with us for our morning swim in the ocean. The Seabreeze Restaurant at the pool has great food (try the fish tacos) and a great bar. Matthews Restaurant nearby has a perfect place to have a sunset dinner, and after dinner you can go to the Casino which is right in front of it. Golf tournaments twice a week at the Links on Wednesdays and Fridays. $75 for Tournament entry, 9 holes of Golf, Cart, sleeve of balls, Club Rental, Shoe Rental AND two drink tickets!! We'll be back next year!!!

Room Tip: Call the 800 number a week or so before you go, they are in North Carolina and they will take care o...

This hotel is part of the low rise hotels. The whole resort is nice EXCEPT the rooms. They're dark and dingy with old furniture. Would recommend staying at a high rise in palm beach instead of staying here.

We stayed at the Divi golf resort back in December (26th - 31st). Our room clean spacious, updated and the ktichen came in handy for breakfast and snacks. The resort is fairly quiet and we enjoyed that vs. the high rise section of Aruba. We loved the pool and it is a short walk to the beach. We will go back again.

This was our first trip to Aruba and before arriving, I thought the layout of the property was a little confusing to understand. Let me clear that up, there are three resorts (all part of Divi) when you stay at the Village, you get to use all three and it's very easy to get around. You do have to cross a street to get to the beach, but it's very close and very easy to get to. I would recommend the Village out of the three properties. We were on the all-inclusive with our kids. All the dining exceeded our expectations. From the Palm Grill where you cook your own food in the middle of the table, to Paparazzi, the Italian restaurant, they were all very good. However, our favorite was Mulligan's which is located at the golf course. Only those staying at the Village have Mulligan's included in the all-inclusive. The food is fantastic, the service is outstanding. Also, if you stay at the Village, you can play golf for free after 3:00pm. My son and I played 5 out of 7 days, eighteen holes each day. Then we'd meet Mom and daughter at Mulligan's and relax with some beverages and appetizers. The room was great. Spacious, clean, cool. The people are very friendly and helpful. The pool area in the Village has the only swim up bar. The one thing I read before I got there and now must say is true is that no matter how full the three properties are, it never feels crowded. From beach chairs and pool chairs to shuttles and restaurant reservations, it's all rather easy and readily available. We would absolutely stay here again. And while my wife dearly loves looking at the Ocean, even she would agree that the Divi Village is the best place to stay on this property.

We enjoyed our stay, having a full kitchen was very relaxing. We went to the grocery store and bought breakfast and lunch food (no oven, but they have everything else). The infinity pool is great for kids - fun slide. The walk to the beach was not too bad - you have to cross a street - but it is not too busy. The beach is not great for snorkeling, but it has good waves if your kids like to jump waves. The sand is so soft and white! Lots of space in the rooms - we had a king bedroom and a pull out couch in the living room. Ours had a washer/dryer which came in handy & 2 full bathrooms. Guests claim pool chairs all day - which is annoying since they would leave for hours. I saw a granddad come out every morning at 6am and claim 5 or 6 chairs - the chairs were NEVER occupied. Management should handle this better. We love Aruba and would stay at Divi Golf again.

Room Tip: If you have kids, ask for a room near the infinity pool. It is a bit noisier, but fun. The 2nd flo...

Divi Village is exactly what is advertised, it is a very nice place to stay. It is not in the middle of the bars and restaurant scene that you hear so much about in Aruba. But, if you are looking for a nice place to stay that is close to the beach, has a lot of pools and is fun you should check out Divi Village.

My wife and I stayed here for a full week and had a really good time. We really liked the one full bedroom, two full baths (including jacuzzi tubs in each bathroom), full kitchen, living room, two patios and a full outdoor dining area on the top floor complete with BBQ, tables, chairs and hot tub!

The gift shop on property has limited hours, especially on Sunday and just about everything is almost twice as much as you can find on the local economy. They do carry the essentials and in a pinch you can get what you need including milk, beer, liquor, mixes, snacks, sun lotions and potions.

We opted to take a short walk to the local grocery store and buy some supplies and food for snacking etc.

We did not have good dining experiences here at Divi, slow service and over cooked food just did not sit right with us. on the other hand, the restaurants in the local area are awesome, we highly recommend El Gaucho's downtown and the Pelicans Nest Bar & Grill by the high rises.

Several great pools on property and one has a pool bar. As in most places it all depends on who is tending bar, we were not impressed, but you should at least check out their happy hour specials.

All in all, would we come back, yes. Would we recommend to friends, yes.

Room Tip: Get the 1 bedroom, it is worth every penny!
