“Wow!”
Reviewed 22 July 2014

If you're on a budget but still like to eat out and don't mind a short drive, you definitely need to give this place a try. It's near the Smit & Dorla's shop near the Carribbean Laundry Plaza. This place is clean, well staffed, and always full...even at lunch. A local friend, my niece and I went for a late lunch and had a feast for about $11.00 each (afl 20/person)...and no service charge. My friend and I each had a flattened steak with salad, Criollo potatoes and yucca, and rice. It was awesome. I highly recommend this place. Just a word of caution for American tourists...ask for the Spanish menu. Prices on the English menu are in dollars. Prices on the Spanish menu are in florins...and they aren't equivalent. For those of you familiar with "locals only pricing", this means that locals pay in florins, others pay in dollars. So the afl 20 steak dinner on the Spanish menu is $20 on the English menu. Ask for the Spanish menu and save about half...for the same exact food.

“Recommended by locals with Colombian backgrounds”

Worth the trip if your looking for good Colombian food on the island. They even give you a complimentary bowl of mazamorra with your bandeja paisa! Don't forget to ask for it though ;)

“The best Colombian food on the island”
Reviewed 6 March 2014

Don Jacinto is a very nice Colombian Restaurant, I have eaten at lest 10 times there, form a Grilled Sirloin to the daily lunch, of course is not a luxury restaurant but if you like home made food, or Colombian style food this is your best choice. I just love the way they prepare the potatoes with "Yuca" that the use as a side in the plates.
The attention is super good, the waitress always respectfull and kind.

“Great Columbian Food on Aruba”
Reviewed 3 October 2013

My son treated us to a great meal at Don Jacinto. It is simple yet delicious Columbian Fare. The prices are so reasonable for the island and the food so savory. The waitress was very willing to translate the menu. If you want delicious food at a great price please visit Don Jacinto.
