These are probably the only positive of the meal. The food does not match the atmosphere. The service was slow. One member of the party of 12 never received his entree until the others were done. We ordered 3 desserts 2 came 1 came later. Would try another place for dinner.

Came to Aruba for our honeymoon, stayed at the Marriott and decided to eat here. Food was nice, view was great and service was good. I forgot how windy it would be (make sure to bring a hair tie!) and we went when the sun was setting (so bring sunglasses for the first half of dining!) and order the grouper- it was delicious. Drinks and dessert were good too. A bit slow and overpriced (but Aruba is on island time and everything is pricier than at home). Overall a nice beach dining experience.

I have been to Aruba multiple times and always do a sunset dinner one night at Simply Fish. The setting was great as always, the service was okay, but the food was not very good this time and overpriced for what you get. We asked the waiter why the odd fish selections on the menu, such as fish from Italy, no local fish, etc. and he explained that Marriott has a quality standard and all food must be inspected and this is not available locally and so therefore they may not serve any local fish. I can understand Marriott wanting to keep the standards high, but I would like to see some local fish / "fresh" fish on the menu. I'm not sure if it has always been this way, but I don't recall that being the case. I have had better fish at Luby's cafeteria if that gives you an idea of what our meal was like!

The food here was just average, however the prices were overpriced. Even smaller restaurants had better quality fish than "Simply Fish." Would not recommend this place to anyone

Lets begin with the good. The atmosphere on the beach was very nice. The food very mediocre at best. The fish that I received was tiny and dry. They may have been out. The grouper macadamia nuts seemed to be fried. When dessert came ,only two of the three came. The waiter said they need to go to another kitchen for the third. I will not say anything about price, you are at a resort, prices are always inflated. The food quality does not justify the price. My best advice is find another restuarant.
