We travel to Aruba every year and always stay at this Hyatt. The hotel is fabulous. The beach is spectacular and the casino is lively. All of the staff are terrific. We have done this for the past eight years and would not think if staying elsewhere. I must admit that the difficulty with the availability of beach huts and rafts mentioned by other reviewers is an ongoing problem. It is the one area that Hyatt should look to improve. That said, this is a fabulous hotel on a wonderful, happy island.

This is a really beautifully appointed hotel. Beach access is terrific and so is landscaping and design. Food and service are above average. Entertainment is poor and this is where it is clear that the management lacks attention to detail. Daily, the entire property is subjected to an obnoxiously loud game of beach bingo ( yes, I know...). You are thinking "Huh"??? It gets worse- they are blasting this game proudly across property over the microphone!!!! Also, nightly you are subjected to a parade of local singers with questionable vocal abilities. The key issue here is that if you paid for the best room with the ocean view, this room also comes with the full access to a bingo hour and the skin-the-cat vocal performances at the outdoor bar. And you cant escape it, unless you leave the property. Seems that these issues would be easily corrected if the management made an effort. This property has potential to be a five-star resort. But it only gets three stars.

A very family friendly property - to the extent that the Regency Club resembles an Upper East side day care center at breakfast time.

Balconies are very small - not wide enough for a chair and table. Rooms are quiet and clean, be sure to push for a non-connecting room (few and far between).

Front Desk doesn't seem to recognize any Gold Passport loyalty, absent of a "thank you for your patronage'.

On this recent visit, suites were left empty and no upgrades were offered, despite being Diamond Status.

Central location, Budget Rental car opposite the hotel is the way to go - Hertz on property is expensive.

A hyper market 10 minutes drive, is perfect for snacks, and beverages.

Only downside of the property is the beach and pool areas - incredibly crowded and a bizarre system of first come first served chairs and umbrellas - 6:30am is when they go, and frankly, who wants to get up at that time on vacation.

Room Tip: Call ahead and insist on non connecting rooms.

Every time me and my family always stay here. Pool is great and usually get food from the pool bar. Beach is fantastic and run from the beach to the pool all day. Food is amazing. Go to the Mexican place Mexicado in the hotel. You will not regret it! Overall great stay. Only bad thing is I could here everything going on in the hallway which was annoying.

Room Tip: Try to get a room furthest away from the elevator, walls are very thin and screaming kids might wake one up in the morning.
