Excellent beach - spotlessly clean with white powdery sand and clear serene water. Stopped at Palm Beach first but too busy (big brash hotels - reminded me of Cancun). if you like quite beaches where you can snooze in peace, or watch people strolling along the sandy expanses then this is the place for you.

Water was amazing. Beach was clean. But further down the beach gets a little rocky so beware! Lots of fun water activities to do!

Palm and Eagle are the most popular beaches in the island, situated in its north-west.
Although they are next to each other, they are very different. Palm is crowdy and full of big and tall hotels (someone has also Casinò), Eagle is quiet and restfull, hotels are smaller and more expensive (Bucuti & Tara is the best one), but in the evening there is absolutely nothing to do. The choice depends from your needs.
How to get there: KLM from Europe, American Airlines from USA are the main companies. There are no boat-link with the nearest Curacao.
Weather: it is windy and sunny all year long, that makes Aruba the perfect caribbean destination during the hurricane season.
Foods: Fish-based dishes are quite expensive and the quality are not always guaranteed.
Transportation: taxi is the best way to move, it is pretty cheap and efficient. It is worth to rent a car only if you want to explore the island toward non-turistic destinations. Public trasport are uneasy.
Activities: Relax is maybe the best "activity" to do. There are sea and land activities, in Palm beach there are also some nigthlife spots, but they are not really evolved, if you are looking for adventurous experiences, it is better if you look elsewhere.
Currency: Dollars are accepted everywhere. Be careful to the conversion from local currency, not all the retailer are honest.
Suggested only if you are looking for relax.
