Went last night. I was tempted to try the Thai menu however we went out for German food so schnitzel and spaetzel is what I had. The schnitzel was done to perfection not greasy and tender and flavorful. The noodles were authentic and delicious. The draft beer was Icy cold. My friend had a beef fish rolled up served with red cabbage and noodles. He said it was delicious. Obviously we cleaned our plates. Service was excellent. Three persons checked to see if everything was ok. Can't wait to go back and try the Thai menu as the food looked very good and the smell was aromatic

“German food at it's best!”

I love sauerbraten and jagerschnitzel. This is the best place for both! Besides being delicious, the prices are very affordable. The staff is friendly and accommodating . Don't pass this restaurant up! We ate there twice while we were there!

“Delicious food, great value, sub-ideal location.”

My wife and I had the chicken schnitzel. It was excellent as were the noodles the chicken came with; tasted like a high quality mac and cheese. The chicken was fried to perfection and topped by a savory mushroom gravy. There is an extensive list of German beers of all types; however, they are bottled, not on tap (probably not logistically practicable).
Bavaria is a bit off the beaten path, but not exceedingly so. Thumbs Up

“Very authentic and delicious”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 July 2014

Visited the island last month and was sooo glad came here for dinner one night. At first was a little worried when the owner was asking if we were here for the Thai food (found out later they used to own a Thai place next door). It's a typical mom and pop place with okay amount of seating. The decor is very German...just wish the lighting was a little bit brighter. My expectation wasn't very high base on the first impression. The beer menu was adequate and dinner menu has enough selections. We ordered the potatoes pancake appetizer which turned out to be excellent. I ordered the sampler and rest of parties ordered various meat dish. Let me say the food quality is very fresh and taste very authentic. NYC has some really good German restaurants and this place is just as good. BTW, the beer also tasted excellent. Service was okay probably because it was an early dinner but the owners were constantly checking on us. The location is not very walk friendly and if you drive there are not too many parking space. We took a taxi there and the owner called a cab for us after we finished. Overall, you should put this German restaurant on your must dine list because you wont regret it!!

“Refreshing authenticity, friendliness and BEER!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 July 2014

We sought Bavaria out after receiving an ad on our beautiful honeymoon in Aruba. A mere few blocks away from the high rise resorts, we were met by one of the friendliest business owners we've ever met anywhere! Peter (the owner) was warm, welcoming and offered genuine conversation and advise, but- the food!
My husband being a connoisseur of German cuisine had the highest hopes for our lunch and we were met with an outstanding experience! The chicken schnitzel and creole sauce was more than satisfying paired with a myriad of authentic imported German beers- each of which came with a wealth of information on origin, recipe and history. Needless to say we could not wait to come back for a proper dinner, which we did the very next evening with friends.
Every dish from the hot home made pretzels to the creamy potato soup, sauerbraten and spatzle, wiener schnitzel, jager schnitzel and German chocolate cake was irresistible! And for the feast we received the cost was jaw droppingly affordable!
We ate, we drank and we were quite merry- we can't wait to get back for some more Bavaria! Thank you Peter!!
