This is a very nice fourth floor condo with upscale furnishings. The pictures are accurate. There is a very modern kitchen that is very well equipped with dishes, pots, pans, silverware, utensils, coffee cups, wine glasses, and drinking glasses. It has everything you need to cook if you desire. The stove is a modern electric glass top unit. The countertops are black garnet. The dishwasher works well. There is a very good 10 cup coffee pot. There were filters too. There is a blender for making drinks. There is a very good toaster. The sink is a little small but sufficient. The refrigerator is large and has an ice maker.
There is a six seat smoked glass dining table as well as bar stools around the countertop bar. There is a full size washer and dryer that works well. All electrical receptacles are the American standard.
There is a 32” flat screen TV in the living and in the master bed room. The Wifi and Cable TV worked very well. The Wifi is very fast. It did require unplugging the router located under the phone once to reset it. But otherwise it worked very well and I consider to be a big plus to the condo.
There are two bedrooms and two baths. The master bath has his and her vanities. The master has two queen beds. These beds have very hard low quality mattresses. We didn’t sleep well and woke up sore. Laying in bed meant that every ten minutes, one had to reposition because the bed was so hard. These beds need to be upgraded or should have mattress pads.
The condo has a very nice view of the ocean and the eagle pool. There is a table on the balcony where we enjoyed coffee overlooking the ocean. This balcony is about midway set back along the building. This is condo is in the eagle building on the south side of the property. There is a separate courtyard on the south side that this building faces.
Each building has two elevators. There is a luggage cart that made getting luggage, groceries, and beach chairs upstairs easy. There were floats, noodles, and beach chairs. The beach chairs are chairs and do not lay flat. I suggest the chairs be upgraded.
The condo is located across the street from the beach. The other parts of the beach have many more people than this area. We found that driving to the beach was easier than walking because we only had to carry things the car and park a few feet from the beach.
I would strongly suggest that if you stay at this complex you rent a car. While you could walk to a few things, you will be very limited at this location unless you have a car. This was arranged for us by Prestige in advance. We were met at the airport and it was very easy to drive in Aruba. I suggest to bring a GPS. You can get a map from GPSmaps for the island. While it isn’t hard to find your way, we found it was just much easier especially at night or in the city.
The location is somewhat secluded so it is easy to relax. The complex has 24 hour security so we didn’t have any issues. If you want a vary busy location with wall to wall people, go to the high rise area. If you want to get away from all of the busy wall to wall people then this is the place. It is about a 5 minutes drive to Oranjestad or the high rise area. I feel that this is one of the best locations to stay on the island. With a car you are very close to everything.
The beach here is as good as it gets. We didn’t have any issue getting shade. You might in the high season. But in October, it was very easy. The sunset from this location is great. We saw it from the balcony with drinks.
Within five minutes there is both Super Foods and Ling and Sons. While Prestige offers a service to groceries ahead of time, we found going to the store was interesting and we are glad we choose to go ourselves. Some items like produce are higher but not really that bad. But some items like meat and fish as less expensive than in us. But the cheese is great and should not be missed. I recommend old Amsterdam.
We found Aruba to be a very clean and safe place. People are very warm and friendly and are one of the best things about the island. There are a lot of good restaurants available. For more information about Aruba Google Aruba Kid. We found his free E-book very informative.
Our experience booking through prestige was very good. They were very responsive to every request or inquiry and they add a lot of value by helping with bookings and providing information. Booking the condo through them was one of the best decisions we made.
We would consider staying in this condo again but we would have to solve the bed issue or know it was solved. It was a very clean and comfortable accommodation otherwise in a great location.

My husband and I just returned from a 2-week stay. The property looked just like the pictures, featured everything we needed on a home away from home. Directly across from Eagle Beach and close to grocery shopping and some good restaurants and a quick cab or bus ride from the high rise hotel district happenings. Beach chairs, towels and cooler were provided although the chairs could be upgraded to those that convert to chaises and the roller for the cooler needs to be replaced as well. These are a real plus because there is no restaurant or bar at the beach or on the property so you need to pack your drinks and carry them across the street to the beach. The property seemed to be the only one that didn't at least have a small place on site for a quick meal and drinks if you wanted to hang at the pool all day - that was a bit of a drawback. Never had to fight for space at the pools but did notice the beach getting a bit more busy with people staking out their palapas because there are not many directly across from the property. We appreciated the mid- stay cleaning and the friendliness of the staff and responsiveness of Prestige Rentals - we would definitely return!
