The Ritz Carlton in Aruba is amazing! It's worth every cent if you can afford to stay there. The hotel is beautiful with great views from every room. The staff is super friendly, professional, and accommodating. The Beach is in the best location. The restaurants and bars were fun! I can't wait to go back!

Received a room above basketball court by children's pool. Were not able to enjoy sitting on our deck in peace and quiet at all during our stay. Also, pool servers were very slow and had to be asked to serve us on many occasions. Cabanas not worth the money - no privacy and poor service.

First things first! Staff kudos to Justine (Assistant Manager?), Sora (front desk) Alduous (bellman) and Ephrainim (sp?), Roel (sushi bar) and Luisa (BLT). Each of these individuals went out of their way to make our impromptu visit genuinely, consistently, extraordinary. My wife and I 'tip our hat' to the Ritz and to each of these talented hosts. Fantastic.

A little background: after a wonderful three day visit to Bucuti & Tara, my wife and I were scheduled to transfer to the well rated Manchebo Resort. Upon arrival at Manchebo,we were immediately disappointed for several reasons. We also found that the 'ocean view' room categories at the Manchebo had recently been changed and that now 'ocean view' meant our room would be facing large yoga palapa...Heming which was the 'ocean'. Yikes. After touring two Manchebo resort rooms-both in ill condition, we decided to find another hotel...a risky proposition given the island was largely 'booked'.

Ritz to the rescue. My wife called the Ritz, explained our situation and informed us we 'should come by' as they had a room for us, etc.

Upon arrival, we greeted by the assistant manager (Justine???) and walked over to the front desk where Sora went to work on our situation. Not only did Sora find us a room, after hearing of our experience at Manchebo and our upcoming anniversary, Sora and the Ritz team upgraded us to a full ocean view room on the fourth floor. The room, amenities, balcony and view were stunning. Our mood went from frustration re our Manchebo Resort situation to shear relief/joy at the Ritz!!People make things happen...and the people at the Ritz made our holiday!

Sushi Bar: Roel intercepted us while we were on our way to the Italian restaurant downstairs. Suggested we should try one of his sushi rolls! A great salesman! We did so and ended up on the adjacent balcony, overlooking the ocean/sunset and enjoying live music, cocktails and sushi for the evening. Well done Roel!

BLT: Luisa! We sat the bar and ate at BLT for two evenings. Why two? Because Bartender and host Luisa is the best there is! Wine tastings, recommendations, knowledge of dinner menu etc. coupled with a smiling, charming gem of a personality, she made both evening wonderful!❤

Some other details:
Madero: great for a lite lunch!
Gym: 5 star.
Pool :5 star.
Pool attendant: no need to mention name here, but could have been much improved. . A minor flaw in an otherwise stellar experience.
Beach concierge: fantastic.
Free parking valet: great!!
Free paddle boards, snorkels etc. Great!
Terrific proximity to restaurants, kite sailing etc.

Sunsets on the deck: to die for. 7 stars!

Suggestions? ✔️

The free popsicles in the beach are tasty, but observed many plastic container remnants left on the beach. I am not an eco-but, but am eco-aware. I suspect many other guests are as well?

Also beach could be 'picked up a bit more' overnight

Ritz...Ritz staff...thank you for coming to our anniversary rescue. Your team, your hotel is fantastic!

Everything was beautiful and the staff could not have been nicer or more attentive. A little difficult to get a beach chair as we had to get there early. But this week was spring break and very busy. We loved all aspects of the hotel and all of the restaurants

Beautiful property located on the beach. Well appointed rooms and a great staff. Special mention to Club Lounge staff Gerson, Jessie and Carlos!! Great restaurants on site with many others nearby. Typical Ritz Carlton property, not inexpensive but worth the money. Aruba is a beautiful island and the local people are friendly, can't wait to return!!
