You could easily walk right past this little gem of a museum. The exhibit is on the upper floor of an old building that once was the Globe Hotel and before that housed one of the island's governors. It focusses on three aspects - the building, Bermuda's historical context and thirdly what Bermudians were up to during the American Civil War.
It is only $5 entrance fee. Or you can get a combination ticket for $10 that gives access to nearby Tucker House and to Verdmont, a short bus ride or drive away.
Will take about 30-40 minutes to see.
Central St George's on corner of Town Square.
Access by bus from all parts of island, moped or taxi.
Note - has stairs and not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs.
Older children would be interested but smaller ones might need a quick visit option of highlights only.
Displays are all in English.
