Do visit this for an amazing view. Learn the short cut to get here. Even that is quite far for walk. We took the long way over hills, but it was worth it. Restaurant, not too far called the Beach House, good place to stop for refreshments. Enjoy Bermuda, my first visit and will be back

We were in St George, decided to go for a walk and ended up at the Fort St Catherine. The history surrounding this fort is very interesting. There is a small entrance fee of around $7. Apart from the history you get great views of the Ocean and beautiful water. We spent about an hour walking around the fort which is really all you need.

Visited in march 2014.

A short walk from St George town is well worth your time to check out this fort and the surrounding area. The restored magazine room is fantastic and the size of some of the guns is awe inspiring.

As a bonus, you can see where the crew of the Sea Venture came aground (first settlers). Also, don't miss the beach and rocks at tobacco bay.

This is one of the best beaches on the island, and I highly recommend spending part of a day here. My husband and I actually found this place on accident while trying to find another small beach. You can walk to it from St. George, but it's a little bit of a hike. The view is beautiful. There is beach glass everywhere. Not a lot of people around except locals.

Do not go to this area if there is a storm or even a slight chance of rain coming. This is not the place to get stranded because the taxis very rarely come to this area. My husband and I got caught in a quick rain shower, and all of our stuff got soaked. We got lucky that someone called a taxi and ended up not needing it.

The fort was closed when we were there but the beach is beautiful! And not a single person on it. Winter time is not beach season on Bermuda. But it was fun to Hang out there. I bet this a cool beach in the summer.
