Description: Griffin's Restaurant and Bar offers spectacular views over the UNESCO World Heritage site of St. George's old Towne and its historic harbour. Our Pizzeria offers great value both at the bar and to take back to your room. April and November the harbour is full of yachts transitioning to and from the Caribbean to escape the storms. Our food is Italian/Mediterranean with a Caribbean flavour and we can cater to most food allergies and vegetarian diets. Our wines are carefully selected by Maître D' Bruno and he definitely knows his trade. We also boast some of the most unusual single Malt whiskies on the island. Griffin's Bar has live entertainment three (3) nights a week, with a pianist and a live band.

The food was good, however overprices as compared to the other better restaurants in St. George's. We were forced to eat there due to the $60 dollar per adult dining fee for St. George's Club guests.

The first time we have been for brunch here since the change in management and chef. The location is great with a lovely view and the dining room is very pleasant and tastefully decorated. The manager/maitre'd was very casually dressed compared to the wait staff who were very smartly attired. Brunch was OK. A very small selection of salads which was a bit disappointing as a real salad lover. Some interesting vegetables were served. Plentiful supply of shrimps and smoked salmon. Had three choices of meat at the carvery and a couple of other items in the tureens. A very good selection of deserts. Overall for the price it was OK. The service was very good and friendly.

Service was formal but very friendly; we felt like honored guests--and toward the end of the week at St. George's Club, friends. Food was very good though selections for non-seafood eaters was limited. Brunch was a wide spread with omelets cooked on request. We were quite happy with Griffin's.

Thank Shersim
