This place has a high price tag with nothing else high quality. It's not worth what your paying for. Your better off in Florida. The room are out dated and the ground need a better up keeping. If you are an older couple don't stay here. The hills and walking are a killer. Love Bermuda but all the hotels need a face lift Especially elbow beach.

Our family vacation at this beautiful spot couldn't have better not only because of the fantastic views and gorgeous beach but also the genuine friendliness of the welcoming staff. We had fabulous food at all of the restaurants and enjoyed the Friday night music. Mostly just having the opportunity to jump into the clear beautiful water every day and snorkel around the reef just off the beach was a true pleasure. This hotel really is Bermudaful!

Food and drinks were very expensive and not tasty at all. No entertainment and average service. Stay in town at a B&B for better service, pools, restaurants, etc. Take cabs to the beach if you want to go for the day. Not a destination spot.

Room Tip: Ask for a room that does not face another person's cottage or you will have no privacy.

This is a beautiful property with fantastic views of the ocean. Wonderful restaurants and the best beach in Bermuda yet not far from town. Also a very fun night club right on property! This is perfect for business, honeymoons, families or with friends. You can't miss with this one and I've stayed at many hotels in Bermuda.

Room Tip: Many room types to choose from depending on budget and size that you want.

I have been coming to Elbow for many years.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The views are incredible. The grounds are well kept. The beach is one of the best views on the island.

George, Gary & Webster at the front doors, are kind faces to return to each year. They are helpful, and friendly.

Check in is smooth, and there are several dining options on the property (Lido & Mickey's--which I have also reviewed)

Breakfast overlooking the beach cant be beat. There are options to have as much, or as light as you need for that first meal of the day.

My only drawback, is the lack of a bar, at the main hotel building. This would be helpful when coming back from dinner in town, or just in the afternoon for fun, or prior to departure to the airport.

Otherwise, for the location, service and view, this hotel is great!

Elbow Beach Hotel is a perfect place to escape from your everyday life and relax. The hotel is located on the most beautiful part of the island! The hotel grounds are lovely and immaculately kept, Our suite was large, impeccably clean with an amazing view overlooking the beach and the ocean and had a beautiful colourful turquoise throw on the bed. The hotel staff are extremely helpful , polite and very welcoming. What we found was a level of customer service that was of such an exceptionally high standard as to immediately make a discernible difference in every facet of our stay. The beach is big and well maintained so you get a long uninterrupted walk. What really makes this place so good is the staff. EVERYONE is friendly and attentive. I didn't meet one person that didn't say hello and ask me how my day was going. It isn't because they work at the Elbow Beach, it's because that is the culture on the island, they are so welcoming and friendly. We had the sweetest lady named Fedrina who took care our room and her attention to detail was outstanding. Our suite was extremely clean and comfortable including complimentary San Benedetto water during day and night turndown service. The bathroom was similarly well-appointed - shower and fixtures (two sinks plus a separate toilet. There were plenty of towels, soap and luxurious Italian Amenities from Acqua Di Parma and it was a pleasure to use them as they were refreshing. Food was delicious; a little on the expensive side..... You're on an island - so it's to be expected.
A special thank you to Fedrina our Room Attendant who took excellent care of us. Even the director of Housekeeping is visible and will ask if there is anything they can do to make your stay even more compfortable. I cannot praise this hotel enough and certainly wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone who is thinking of going there. I can’t wait to go back. A credit to the new management.

Our son and his fiancée decided on Bermuda as the site of their destination wedding, and did extensive research before settling on Elbow Beach Hotel as the place in Bermuda for their beach wedding. As it turned out, it couldn't have been better.

There was some discomfort when it was discovered that the management of the hotel was changing shortly before the wedding date from the Mandarin Oriental group to local management. After extended discussions and negotiations with Ed Burns, the new general manager, and his staff, it was decided that there was no cause for any more worry than usual in a project such as this. His staff was very helpful in arranging all of the myriad details that go into a fine wedding experience. The choice of Elbow Beach was validated by the way the wedding actually turned out.

Enough good cannot be said about the entire hotel staff, from the general manager on down. They were always - and I do mean always - responsive to our needs. My wife has a mobility problem, and when we called for a golf cart for transportation around the resort, it came quickly. Our room was large and had a patio with a good view of the water. Internet, which was essential, was quite fast, and actually better than at our home or condo in the United States. The hotel's recommendation for the off-site location of our rehearsal dinner turned out to be extraordinarily good, with one of the best meals served to a group of about 30 that I have ever had, and this opinion is based on having arranged meetings of around this size or larger several times a year over a 30 year period. I won't keep you in suspense: it was the Fourways Inn, and Andy Detzer, its manager, is top drawer.

The main building's guest rooms at Elbow Beach are now closed, but the new management has plans to reopen them after they are brought up to proper condition. This closure did not affect the areas on the ground floor and the patios around and above the pool, which were in operation. The wedding reception and dinner were held there.

On balance, and on the basis of having traveled in many foreign countries, it is my opinion that Elbow Beach is as good as it gets. We look forward to another visit when it can be arranged.
