Owner description: Three hotels line this beach, making it popular with tourists; you might want to avoid this place if you're not into the Spring Break college kid party scene, which tends to crowd the beach during the Easter season.

So we went back to Elbow Beach to show the kids what a beautiful beach… not the same. The beach isn't as clean. Now part of it might be because of the tropical storm in the states but the trash had nothing to do with it. The jelly fish were crazy on the beach today. We saw several man of war washed up on the beach. (went down to Horseshoe and found a few down there too).

Elbow beach is named such because its shape looks like that of a bent elbow. It is a very clean and well kept beach, but I believe this is mainly due to the hotels that take up residence along this shoreline. I personally prefer a more out of the way beach.

Elbow beach is probably one of the cleanest beaches on the island. It's close proximity to some of the nicer beach front restaurants (Mickey's, Cafe Lido) as well as Elbow beach hotel makes it a great place to grab a bite then take a stroll along the beach.

Tip: Public transportation is the way to go when getting here. Parking is very limited and tricky to navigate for tourists only just getting familiar with their rental scooters.

Another Tip: There are no public restrooms other than a single portable toilet and the restaurants are on the higher end so you can't just walk in off the beach (unless you're a Elbow Beach Hotel guest)

Needs a bathroom & would be perfect! There are large rocks only about 20 feet into the water that you can stand on to watch the fish nearby! Amazing beach, only had a porta-potty though which was dirty :(

Our family just returned from a week at Elbow Beach in Bermuda- it was an amazing memorable trip. The hotel was incredible, it has the most convenient set-up of any beach resort on the island. The resort is comprised of several luxurious large residential quality suites and studios. I ran the resort several times- gorgeous- and can attest every room has an amazing view- 80%+ of water. The staff is gracious, generous friendly and genuine. The food is incredible- all of it- from the chicken mango salad to local daily catch, scrumptious. The grounds are perfectly manicured and lush. My two small children built sand castles, boogie boarded and made Bermudian kites at the COMPLIMENTARY kids camp- what a special treat! With a flight under 2 hours, and USD- it is an ideal spot from New England. Book it now!
