My wife and I enjoyed a leisurely stroll along Horseshoe Bay beach on New Year's Day. For those of you visiting Bermuda in the winter, shorts and a light sweater is all that was needed for a very comfortable walk along this iconic stretch of beach.

The volcanic rock formations provide several opportunities for elevated views of the twisting coastline. If you're a bit of a shutterbug, you'll find several spots that that will make for very memorable photographs.

Although unable to compare our experience to the more seasonable times of the year, we thoroughly enjoyed the serenity and smaller crowds during our visit. It's such a beautiful island and Horseshoe Bay is easily the crown jewel.

We spent a day here on a stopover while on a cruise. This is a great beach to visit if your ever in Bermuda. Don't stick to the main beach area, not that there is anything wrong with it, but do some exploring if you have the time, you wont regret it.

Horseshoe Bay Beach is known as one of the top 10 beaches in the world...for a reason...its gorgeous!!! It can get very crowded in the summer, so just keep walking, and then you will find tons of pink sand and beautiful blue water. In August the weather is hot but the ocean is like bathwater....you'll never want to leave!!

Best to take a taxi here, find another couple if you can to bring down the cost. The walk up from the beach is not that bad, good exercise. Facilities are nice.

Really beautiful. We walked and explored the rocks. A perfect spot to walk and see how awesome Bermuda is. Off season, no one was there.

This is a great public beach located adjacent to the Fairmont Southampton Hotel's private beach. Take the Fairmont trolley to get there or go by taxi. It has a small snorkeling ocean pool about 100 yards wide that is really neat.
