“Secluded but good for snorkeling”
Reviewed 19 August 2013

Another one of Bermuda's beautiful beaches. The waters are crystal clear and amazing for snorkeling; however, the beach is secluded and a bit far from the bus stop. Better to go to if you have a rental bike. Small in size but very nice

“Off the beaten track”
Reviewed 12 August 2013

Hard to find but worth the effort. Large car park and field to walk through to reach beach. Quiet with only five people there when we went on a mid morning Saturday. White sand gentle waves, plenty of rocks and lots of interesting fish clearly seen through crystal clear water without need for snorkel. No facilities and no lifeguards.

“Another great beach”
Reviewed 5 August 2013

Whale Bay beach is much smaller then Horseshoe but it is also a nice one to swim. There is an area were you can have a picnic there as well. Not as crowded at some of the other beaches.

“We loved this hidden gem”
Reviewed 11 July 2013

A couple turned us on to this beach on our cruise ship at dinner one evening. We had rented a scooter and were determined to find it. The beach was not far from the dockyard via scooter. There is a parking lot and a large grassy area to walk through before reaching the beach. The beach itself is small in comparison to some of the more popular beaches but it doesn't feel small when you are one of the only people on it! My husband and I enjoyed "our own private beach". There were parrot fish and other small fish swimming around and also lots of rocks to snorkel around. The tide was starting to come in toward the late afternoon and eventually forced us to retire back to the ship. I can imagine the beach gets completly covered with water when the tide comes in. If you are to go and can check the tide times it would be most helpful. We hope to return to this piece of heaven sooner rather than later!

“quiet little beach”
Reviewed 21 June 2013

Fantastic hidden little beach. No facilities except for one old toilet. Small beach which I was told you can only go on when tide is out. It was out when we went and was definately worth the visit.
