To be a one of the villagers is to visit pink star and order a lead pipe, liver cutter with 5 dollars in necks and gizzards.

Live 30 mins in their live, and you will want to come back.

Liver cutters are awesome.

You pass this through this area adjacent to the bay when walking from the cruise ship terminal into Bridgetown. There are shops, restaurants, nightclubs and a quayside walk boardwalk.

It was Sunday when we were there so most places were shut!

Worth a visit to get the Bridgetown vibe ...

The name doesn't sound all too inspiring however me and a friend stumbled across this very authentic little rum shop on the famous Baxters Road. Like all the original rum shops on this road you go in, order a bottle and a mixer (they don't do drinks by the glass). In the evenings they do fried chicken which is a real bonus. However, what really sets this place apart is the very warm welcome from Kim and Erica behind the bar. We spent a good couple of hours chatting, and got loads of great tips about the island, food, the sights not to miss - and even some Bajan swear words!

The local charm of Barbados is on this busy street of Baxter rd. Very similar to many busy downtown areas of an island community.

We decided to take a little walk here, because Cruise Terminal is quite near. We heard that this is the place to be at evenings, when music is blasting and local people fill those several bars/pubs/restaurants/street food places. Colourful buildings and nice visit during daytime too. We felt safe and saw only friendly faces
