The fact this is not higher profile is nothing short of criminal. My girlfriend only happened to stumble upon this as an advertising postcard we picked up at the Mount Gay rum factory. It's run by the Transportation Board who run the blue buses and is worth at least double of the $20BDS(£7!!!!) you pay for a 4hr (minimum) scenic tour. Every Sunday of the month at 2pm a different tour departs from Independence Square in Bridgetown. We've just returned from the tour to Cherry Tree Hill, Little Bay and River Bay with a bus full of a combination of locals and tourists looking for a great day out. The transport is a standard blue bus, with probably the best live commentary we've ever had on a trip. As well as the main stops, we had the opportunity to buy local in season fruit and see lots of additional sights we weren't expecting. We bought the tickets at the bus station the day before and just turned up at the right time. All in all an excellent day out and a great, inexpensive way of seeing and finding out more about different parts of the island.
