Our sixth or possibly seventh stay, in January 2014. It is expensive, but the staff:guest ratio is high, and everything here is done to a standard, not to a price. The food in Bajan Blue has improved since our last visit, although it's a shame that it's generally half empty on the nights when there isn't a full buffet. The restaurant is large and needs to be busy to create a good vibe. The same goes for the cabaret - to be frank I don't know why they bother with it - it's a bit 'cruise ship' feel. The spa remains amongst the best in the world, and of course this means it's expensive. However, a one hour massage here means a one hour massage - not 50 minutes, as in most spas. I've said in previous reviews that this hotel doesn't necessarily have the best beach, or best showers, or best anything. But a hotel is a sum of its parts, and this is where Sandy Lane continues to score very highly indeed. And it's why their repeat guests are a staggeringly high percentage. That in itself tells the true story.
