“A little gem in Barbados”

Had a wonderful holiday in this hotel. Third time at this hotel and it gets better each time. Staff are really friendly and courteous. Service is exemplary. The position cannot be bettered. The gardens and beach are lovely and very well looked after. All the rooms have a separate sitting room and balcony, perfect for chilling out in. There is a real pride in this hotel. A small intimate, understated hotel perfect for a relaxed holiday. I will be back.

Suzanne, Clapham.

My husband and I were booked into another resort but when we arrived we were quite unhappy and I went online and found a very good rate for Treasure Beach. We had stayed here previously and loved it, so I booked it on the spot and we drove over immediately. We had such a warm greeting (including rum punches) from Leroy, who remembered us from our first visit 3 years ago. He had actually booked us into the same suite we'd previously occupied. It was like coming home, we couldn't have been happier.

This is a small, intimate resort, one that is very well run and it shows in every aspect. Our ocean-view suite was immaculate and beautifully appointed. Large bedroom and bathroom have high quality linens and huge, thick bathsheets, beach towels which are replaced whenever you need them. The sitting room area has a sink, bar fridge and cutlery and cups and saucers, with an electric kettle, tea, and milk in the fridge. The balcony is furnished with comfy, cushioned chairs and table and a gorgeous ocean view.

Breakfast was included in the price and is either buffet style or A la carte. Afternoon tea is served daily at 4:00 p.m. and includes finger sandwiches, scones, cookies and tea or coffee.

The grounds and pool area are so lovely and well maintained. The beach is small but there is very good swimming right in front of the resort. The staff set up the lounge chairs and umbrellas on the lawn overlooking the ocean or right on the beach if you prefer. Every morning a staff member would serve us chilled fruit kabobs while we sat there sunning and then bring us a chilled cloth for freshening up. It doesn't get better than that, folks.

My husband celebrated his birthday while we were there and we received a phone call asking if we were in our room. A few minutes later a staff member arrived with a bottle of chilled champagne. That was completely unexpected and very touching.

We consider the staff here to be the hotel's biggest asset. They are so warm and friendly and helpful in any way they can be. Our maid, Esther, actually remembered us from our last visit. Our suite was cleaned beautifully every day and every evening there was turndown service.

Friday night there is a Manager's cocktail party around the pool but you won't need to wait until then to meet Jason Patterson, the manager. He is very much in evidence, greeting guests at breakfast and on the beach every day. His concern for his guests' comfort is very evident in his personable, hands-on style. When we were climbing into our rental car to drive back to the airport he came out to say goodbye and wish us a safe journey.

Obviously, we love it here, so are there any negatives? Yes. There is no place to plug a hairdryer in, either in the bathroom or in the bedroom. I had to resort to unplugging the bedside lamp and plugging the hairdryer in there and drying my hair without benefit of a mirror. The air conditioner is in the bedroom (which keeps it lovely and cool for sleeping) but the sitting room has only a ceiling fan and it gets very warm. It would be nice to have air conditioning there as well. The birds in the open air restaurant are such a nuisance. I realize there is not much that can be done about this (maybe if people wouldn't feed them...) but it's really annoying to constantly guard your food from the little marauders.

Those few little nigglies are only minor inconveniences and would not prevent us from returning to Treasure Beach. We are already counting the days.

Room Tip: Loved our 3rd floor ocean-view room, it has a fabulous vaulted ceiling.

Really enjoyed the friendly staff and attentive manager. The high spot for us was the food. Some hotels have several restaurants one of which is Al la Carte which you may be allowed to use once or twice. This hotel has one restaurant that you can use every night and the offering equal to the best offered anywhere else.
Lovely position and the staff bring out as many sun beds as you need and provide cushions and umbrellas. Nothing seems to be too much trouble and we found the bar bill unexpectedly modest at the end of two weeks.
Just a shame the safe had to be changed twice during our visit.
For those who say reviews are from regulars, this was our first visit to this hotel and both the guests and staff couldn't do enough to make us welcome.

Room Tip: Garden and pool view rooms are the same size and I could see the sea from our garden room.

It was the full paradise thing you imagine....beautiful views, peaceful, intimate, spotless, friendly. You really feel cared for and able to fully relax. Small enough so you can walk from your room to the sea or pool in no time at all and a few bars and restaurants around the area. Couldn't recommend more. We will hopefully be back!!

Room Tip: I loved the garden suite rooms...your own lovely patio area...

I had the pleasure of staying at Treasure Beach on a short trip to Barbados recently. My stay was booked by my associate on the island so I did not know what I was in for on my visit. Well, much to my delight I happened to stay at a little piece of tropical paradise! I was greeted by a wonderful hostess upon arrival and treated to a delicious rum punch and whisked to my room in no time. The hotel is an open courtyard to the beach, my room had a wonderful balcony overlooking the courtyard and the ocean and needless to say was cozy and comfortable. Within 10 minutes if my arrival I was basking in the warm sun with sand. The service at the hotel is impeccable, the food is outstanding and I crave their run punch to this day. The worst part of my visit was I had to leave. If you are coming to Barbados, stay at Treasure Beach....you will not be disappointed.

This was my second time to Treasure Beach Hotel: it is a serious luxury hotel, with all the amenities and attention to detail you could wish for.

Our suite the Hibiscus was stunning; overlooking the beach/ocean, plunge pool on the balcony - fantastic large bathroom and bedroom.

The garden surrounding the pool is beautiful, so colourful and very well kept.

Kathy's restaurant is a gem; a view of the ocean whilst you eat. The food is tremendous and nothing is too much trouble. The buffet breakfast with fresh fruit/eggs anyway and omelettes to die for starts the day off perfectly. Lunch; we can very much recommend the Gazpacho soup, and the Treasure Beach burger- delicious. The evening menu is equally delectable.

The small touches, such as the iced flannels, fruit sticks brought to you whilst we were sunbathing on the beach were much appreciated.

The Friday evening cocktail party with bbq is one not to miss.

Lastly but by no means the least, the staff need a mention; very amenable and went out of their way to make our stay as special as possible, in particular manager Jason was extremely charming and ensured our stay was perfect.

Room Tip: The Hibiscus sweet was stunning
