“Satisfy My Soul”

Great food in an absolutely fantastic setting – worth it for the ambience alone.

The Cliff was recommended by a number of friends and acquaintances before we went and we are so glad we did as we were only staying just down the road at the Crystal Cove.

Set price menu for either 2 or 3 courses. We had the full 3 with wine and cocktails which came to BD$800

The food was fantastic and although I went for the easy option of the steak it was cooked to perfection and was probably one of the best steaks I’ve ever had (out of a very very large number).

Paul Owen and his team are doing a fantastic job - the food was so good I was bought the book for Xmas (strangely not on sale at the restaurant thet we noticed– we spotted it a few days later in one of the local shops in Holetown)

Top Tip – Book well in advance and request a ‘rail’ table for one of the best seats in the house. We booked about 3 weeks in advance before we left the UK and managed to get one a fantastic table (Contact details through their website)

My Husband and I went there for a fancy dinner during our honeymoon. While we were somewhat dissapointed with Barbados itself, this restaurant made our visit to Barbados worth it.
The setting of the restaurant is completely spectacular. It is located on what feels like your own privte cove. The beach is lit, and we were told that during turtle season they come to that beach to lay their eggs. Definitely sit outside so you can enjoy the breeze.
The menu is exquisite. The ingredients used taste, feel, look and smell delicious. You can tell they do no economize on quality!!And the wine list is to die for.
And don't get me started on dessert.
The Cliff is a must visit if you go to Barbados!

“Don't go for the food!”
Reviewed 8 November 2008

Having returned to the Cliff this week having not been there for a good number of years, I cannot overstate how disappointed our entire party (of 6) was.
The service was surly both in the bar and at the table, even a request for extra worchester sauce for 2 bloody marys, had to be repeated to a second waiter.
The meals were mixed, 3 of the party had excellent meals but the 3 of us that had the seared tuna were very disappointed, the slab of tuna was thrown on the plate and accompanied by a badly thought out combination of sauces.
The bill that then arrived for a very average meal with sullen service just caused laughter at the table as it was such undisguised robbery.
So go for a good laugh at the cheek of the Cliff and the undeniably beautiful setting but not for the food and service.

“Like a Film Set”

The Cliff is expensive but for a memorable experience then you just have to push the boat out. The setting is amazing and the table is yours for the evening. Food is lovely, setting is amazing!

Picture yourself in the middle of the ocean dining under the stars and looking out at the floodlit sea to watch barracuda and turtles swimming and waves crashing against the rocks below. A wonderful experience for anyone!

Just returned from barbados and LOVED our meal at the Cliff. The setting is phenomenal, the food excellent, and the staff friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone going to Barbados. It is quite pricey, but every place we ate was, this was by far the best.
