We went to the Bistro on the recommendation of another guest and were absolutely surprised to have our best dinner of the week in Bonaire. It is just a short 10 minute walk from the Harbour Village – you must exit the resort to get to the restaurant. It is well worth the walk! My bride and I split an appetizer of foie gras which was the BEST I’ve ever had! It was cooked perfectly, served on a bed of greens. It was cooked so well it needed no sauce, for to add anything would have been to diminish its melt-in-your-mouth perfection. The texture was sublime, and I love foie gras and am usually disappointed. We ended our dinner with lobster and beef medallion. Both were delicious, although my lobster was just over cooked. We enjoyed the meal so much, we went back to the bar another evening for another delicious dinner a few nights later. For both of our meals, we ate outside. Be warned, if you don’t have insect repellent, be hardy or ask for some. The staff was helpful, courteous, and friendly. A special kudos to our server Stephany who did a great job.
