This place is really nice and I would highly recommend you check them out when booking your next trip to Bonaire. Location is great just away from the airport. Free parking. Few min drive to town with a few good restaurants nearby including and a cool food truck serving Lionfish sandwiches just up the road. Coffee and a bottle of wine stocked in the room when I arrived, good Wifi, beach towels, snorkel gear avail for use, and complimentary happy hr on Thursdays. Very nice dock with stairs to the water for diving, snorkeling, swimming. Comfortable chairs on the dock and patio, infinity pool overlooking the ocean, optional dive packages, and the staff here has gone out of their way to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Highly recomment the Junior or Senior suites over the smaller Studio even tho thwy are all very nice and well maintained. Cheers!

Everyone at the Belefonte is there to take care of your every need. All employees are friendly. The service for everything is outstanding and we want to thank Leslie - the general manager for all that she does. If you want a relaxing quiet vacation with snorkeling or diving, this is the place to be. We loved it so much we are already booked to go back this year.

Room tip: the senior suites are outstanding

We were only at the Belafonte for one night, as we transitioned from Curacao back to Europe and beyond. The Belafonte was recommended to us by a friend here in Bonaire. We are so glad we took her advice.

The property is right on the ocean, and most units face the water (only a few steps away). We have visited Bonaire several times, but have stayed 'down town' and actually never noticed the building as we drove by to various dive sites over the years.

We arrived late because of an exciting luggage adventure with Insel Air (subject of another review elsewhere of a very different tone). That adventure continued through the next day as our luggage continued to be MIA. The staff at the Belafonte could not have been more helpful on many fronts. First, because our room was not going to be occupied the day we were scheduled to leave, they extended our checkout time until the evening. I've actually never experienced that before, anywhere. Then they (well, actually mostly Ana, who deserves a very particular mention for all her work) spent a huge chunk of their day on the phone trying to both get someone at Insel to actually answer a phone, and then to track down the luggage -which they ultimately succeeded in.

All of this made a day which could have been pretty miserable a mostly very pleasant one. We slept, we swam, we ate, we sat and watched the sun go down, and we enjoyed our last day in this lovely part of the world, in our very comfortable, well equipped and furnished unit facing the sea.

The Belafonte is a cut above the kinds of places we often stay in. We were very glad we had chosen this place, and even more delighted with the support and friendliness of everyone from the property we interacted with.

We'll be back any chance we get

Room tip: Pay to have one looking out on the ocean. Nothing between you and the horizon. Well worth it.

We spent 12 days in #204 and enjoyed our visit. The condo is fully equipped (except cleaning supplies like broom or dustpan) and is layer out well. Two bedrooms on either side each with its own bathroom. No tubs though. Hot water is not a problem and the water pressure is very good. Beds are comfortable.
Thee is a very small pool overlooking the water and the dock is really good to relax on or dive/snorkel from, right into the water. No beach here but wonderful views of the island!
Staff is lovely and very helpful in making restaurant reservations. Also brought by wine and champagne for the holidays.
About half the people here are repeat visitors during the holidays although only one unit were owners. We met one family that has been coming for almost 20 years to this property.
All in all a good stay and we would recommend it.

It was our first stay at Bellafonte but we know the island very well.
We enjoyed the ocean view suite and the staff was more than friendly and helpful any time. The deck on the ocean is very nice and you can go directly into the water. We would certainly love to come back some day thanks to the general manager Lesley and her staff.
