We stayed at Casa Diana for 3 nights in June. We highly recommend this casa.
Diana and Tony are wonderful hosts who made us feel welcomed and accomodated us with great care and attention.
The colonial charm of this house is something that should not be missed, and is perhaps the best introduction to Havana. The house is adorned with many beautiful art and artifacts which just adds to its special atmosphere.
On the practical side -the rooms and bathrooms are very clean and equipped with fridge, wall safe, air conditioner and ceiling fan.
The breakfasts are delicious, with a variety of fresh fruit and juices.
The house is located in Vedado, which is safe, residential area, and close enough to old town.
To get to the old town we recommend taking a tourist bus with open deck, which stops about 10 minutes by foot from Casa Diana.
Tony is a great storyteller and we were lucky enough that he shared some fascinating stories with us and showed us some pictures from the family album.
All in all it was a great stay!More
