The setting, up several sets of stairs in a crumbly building, is magical when you get there. Out of a different time period but not a recognizable one. The dining rooms are cozy and quiet and you can even have a table for two on the balcony out front.

And the food was spectacular. Wonderful lobster, suckling pig, and especially good fried plantains. Never a sense of hurry. Just gracious and reasonably priced dining. Go if you get the chance.

We were in Havana for about 5 days, and this restaurant provided the best meal of the entire trip. Definitely some of the most creative offerings I saw while we were there. I had the spinach crepes with a flavorful chicken filling and a beet vinaigrette - delicious!

We went here after reading about it in the reviews and also in one of the books. Thought that if its good enough for Queen Sofia and Jay Z, it should be good enough for us. Also checked with some of our hotel staff and they had highly recommend it.

It was rubbish. Terrible food which is way overpriced. Its safe to say that this was our most expensive meal in Cuba and the most disappointing. Service was awful. Staff were rude and obnoxious. Even though the restaurant was empty, they seemed to be in a rush to get us out.

I wouldnt go here having gone to many smaller, more local restaurants. The people are more friendly and you get a real taste of cuba for lot less money.

Dont waste your time on this one.

We regret your thoughts about our restaurant because all of our team strives to provide the best service possible. This opinion contrast with the reviews that we have received commonly. Our chef and waitresses had enough knowlegde to offer and try to have an excellent care with all the customers. We are thankfully about your sincerity and you can have the certainly that this view will be take in consideration. We invite you come back and improve this experience.
Best regards

In the sheer enjoyment of finding a restaurant with good food my wife and I went here two days in a row. At first we were a bit dubious as it doesn't look like much from the outside, however, the further up we went up the stairs the more promising it became. The warm greeting we received upon entering gave us that much wanted "warm and fuzzy" feeling too. Lovely restaurant with a cosy and homely feel. The food is very good, providing a good selection very well prepared. Friendly, knowledgable, helpful and prompt service. Even if you only spend a day in Havana, this restaurant is a must.

Good food in astylish environment in Miramar. Loved the food and atmosphere. Not a cheap place to eat but well worth it.
