The concierge in our hotel recommended this restaurant to us and phoned to reserve a table for us on the terrace. The table we were given had a great view overlooking the central plaza running down Prado. We started with some freshly baked bread to dip in oil and balsamic vinegar. We then had a grilled steak and pork kebabs on skewers served with grilled veg and rice. We started with cocktails and had a bottle of red wine with our meal. The service was very good without being overpowering. The bill was CUC100 = £60 which was the most expensive meal we ate in Havana.
I'd recommend La Terraza.
