Much of the modern art in the modern building was of the sadly frequently low quality often found in arts galleries world wide, but there were some gems. The world arts located in an older building a few blocks south was also worth a visit.

You have to pay to visit each gallery, so we looked at the Spanish paintings and were surprised at the quality and variety of works.

Well worth a visit.

Wow I loved this collection. Loved Cuba generally - its music/ dance/ art is spectacular and this museum is a must see if you are in Havana.

We went to both Museums. We enjoyed this Museum it is well worth an morning's time to walk around and see the art. Of the two we enjoyed the world art Museum better than the Cuban art museum. If we only had time for one again, we would go to the world art Museum. That being said, the Cuban art is well worth the admission price.

We were not feeling well the day we went to the museum and we did it as an "easy" day. It was an easy and enjoyable way to spend a day when we were a little under the weather. We particularly enjoyed the contemporary art. We found the Museum comfortable with lots of places to sit and enjoy the art.

Two sites make up this great Museum. Loved the Cuban stuff and also some lovely European paintings.
Wasn't really interested in the Egyptian artefacts, but showed full range of art. Great.
