I visited the Acuario last year, and it was a phenomenal experience. During my trip to Cuba, this was one of the things I enjoyed the most!
I'd like to start by saying I didn't think it was expensive, compared to the Delfinario at Varadero, which is way more expensive just to see dolphins. When you enter the aquarium, you can go anywhere! There are so many things to do and see. From pelicans to immense varieties of fish. You see dolphins, whales, seals, turtles... The only thing I didn't see was penguins! So it has a great ecosystem,
The aquarium also provides with music, restaurants, one museum, and shops.
The shows were completely amazing! By amazing, I mean amazing. My camera ran out of battery and I'll always regret not being able to record it.
One of the shows was more like a play, in the water. It was so good! It consisted of a play without words based on The Little Mermaid. The characters were obviously professional swimmers. It was like a play in the water. The dolphin show was good as well, but nothing out of this world.
I highly recommend you visit the place, but be careful with some people pushing trying to get in.
