Hemingways is a large, pretty alfresco restaurant where you can take off your shoes and stick your toes in the sand. It all kind of goes downhill from there. The first day we went they offered us a seat right in front of the extremely loud mariachi band. When we asked for a seat a little further away, they would not accommodate us even though there were many available tables, so we left. We came back two days later. They asked if they could start us off with some bread, which was over $7.00. My husband thought his pasta and shrimp was good and my Asian beef salad was ok. Both were overpriced, and although our server was nice, the service was very slow and poor. Even though this place looks fun and trendy, you're probably better off with some of the other restaurants in the area.
