One of the best I've ever been.. If you are visiting Curacao, don't miss it.. Carry your spare cloths... Cloths comes very expensive in the shops near by.. The place is a bit expensive, but worth every penny you spend..

Having arrived at Curacao for the day we decided that this beach was close enough and had all of the amenities that we wanted for a day at the beach. The cost of a cab is $10.p/p as long as you have 4 people riding to and from the beach.Any less than 4 and the price goes up.$3.50 p/p to enter the beach area. There are chairs lined up along the beach and cabana's right on the water. The beach is man made and the jetty prevents any waves. We were there early in the day around 10:30 and stayed till 2:30.The chairs were there for the taking and nobody was there collecting chair rentals. Many cruisers showed up later on and did not pay either. After about 3 hours someone did come over to us and ask for money,We had no idea if he was collecting for the chairs or for himself. We refused and he went on his way and never came back. The water had many stones in it and i found a couple of beer bottles in the water. On the trip back we waited about 20 minutes for a cab to show up and then another 10 minutes for another rider to make it 4 people back to the ship.It was a good day at the beach but i would try someplace else the next time we visit Curacao. It just may cost a bit more for the trip.

Though the sand beach is small and filled with lounges and hammocks, it is gorgeous. A jetty runs the length of the beach enclosing the ocean swimming area with a diving platform and access to climb on the jetty. There's also a pool. Though I was not charged, others were asked to pay for lounge sitting. First few feet of ocean access has many stones, so wear beach shoes. Perfect for small children. All amenities.

We chose to go to a beach for the afternoon after shopping in Curacao in the morning. No one else was going to the beach at that time (we waited 30 minutes hoping to share a cab) It cost $10 each to and from the beach, plus $3.50 each just to be there (it was extra if you wanted to use a beach chair although there were lots of them crowding the beach. This beach was the worst beach I've ever been on, the water was cold and deep with a huge drop just after entering the water. It is man-made and the sand is very rocky/coarse. We spent $47 for a terrible afternoon. I hope never to visit this particular island again by cruise ship as all the good beaches were very far away.

Came here as part of a tour in which our entrance fee was included. We simply paid for the use of a beach bed which was only $9 for the day. Water was very clear it was just a tad cold, but that wasn't a problem. Beach does get crowed but was still enjoyable. There were restrooms, bars, restaurant and shopping nearby. Pina Coladas were wonderful, a bit pricey but that is what you expect to pay at a busy tourist attraction. The bus back to the city is only $1 per person and takes about 10 minutes.
